I've been coming to the Cape for 25 years and this was the worst experience. The place has very limited handicap parking (@ $25/day). We had to park across the street with no assistance with our bags to a second floor room with stairs only. The room was clean but very aged. The toilet in our room constantly ran unless you wiggle the handle just right. Tiles in the shower were cracked and the grout stained. The water smelled bad in the sink and shower. The walls are so thin you can hear everything in your room; from kids running to a coughing fit at 2am. You have to go to the neighbor resort for breakfast ($$). Lunch is at a pub and dinner option is at an outdoor bar/grill. The pub was closed and the grill was $20 for a frozen burger patty with cheese. The beach was perfectly (and unusually) manicured for the Cape and they handled the chairs for you. The indoor pool and hot tub were foamy and the chlorine so strong it stung my eyes walking down the hallway. For nearly $300 a night (look for the extra fees they tack on after the room rate), I expected something much better than what we experienced. We left less than 24 hours there.
Everything was extremely convenient!
Rooms smelled very musty
Located on a private beach, I enjoyed daily walks along the shore. The facilities are well maintained and attractive. The staff were very friendly and helpful
I enjoyed a long weekend at Blue Water Resort. The location is great - beach and local community. My room was spacious staff was very friendly.
Although the staff was wonderful the facility definitely needed an upgrade. I wouldn’t stay there again.
The staff ware very friendly and would stop by and chat to make sure everything was going well. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Loved the pool and beach.
Beautiful beach, warm water in the pool!
Had a great stay in mid-May. The staff was extraordinary and the room, though basic, was clean and comfortable - just what you should expect for a 3 star stay. The pool area was immaculate and the beach pristine. The food is just okay, but it comes fast and is very reasonably priced. I would have appreciated a “do not disturb” door hanger because housekeeping tried to enter twice while I was napping, but no big deal. Overall I had a great stay and I will definitely return.
The staff was very courteous and plenty of staff to assist .Our room was very clean Definitely return
Shorefront location was excellent. Amenities were top notch.
We loved how close we were to the beach and all the restaurants. The indoor pool was so refreshing after being in the sun all day. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. We cannot wait to come back.
Room was good and staff was very professional. I liked my stay and will visit again.
My only complaint was that i was informed when I got to the hotel that I owed an additional $11 on each room for taxes. It may have said that discretely when I booked the room through orbitz, but I was a little disappointed . The good deal wasn't as good anymore. But the hotel itself was great.
The resort is beautiful right on the ocean. The resturaunt and bar staff were very friendly. The front desk staff were miserable . They were not friendly and boderline rude. They were the only ones who had an attidude. The rest of the staff/workers were great. A little customer sevice training is needed for the front desk.
Every element of this gem of a resort was simply great. We travel with our family pet who was welcomed as much as we were. The staff made us feel at home, the room felt like home but the beach view made us know we were away from home on vacation! Highly recommend this as a must stay resort on the Cape.
