The food was delicious! The entertainment was nightly and engaging! The staff was very friendly. Overall this place was very nice and had shops within walking distance. The only reason I’m not giving this a 5 star rating is because there isn’t a full beach access that you can lay out on daily. The property is on a waterfront, but there isn’t a beach, lots of fishing boats tho. Another thing is there aren’t any drawers/ storage is the bedrooms.

the property was beautiful, check in was a mess but not Orbitz fault...the first part of trip was through another travel agent. The second part of trip was through Orbitz, the hotel did not receive payment for the first three days, and did not combine the reservations so we could stay in same beach front walk out room which was available the first three days, and they moved us to a master suite looking over the pools and ocean. The hotel did not have hot water for three days of our stay. But we were not the only travelers that this happened to, many were told their stay was not paid?? it was a mess The staff was amazing, staying calm through this, I have no desire to go back to Playa del Carmen

Our stay was great but when we arrived we were told that I didn't have the same room booked so we upgraded which cost us a $100 a night. Apparently there is a sale in place and the data was lost so many people didn't have their reservation when they arrived. I felt sorry for the people working there because they were doing there best. Beautiful hotel and the staff was amazing. Felt like to much of my vacation was spent on checking to see where everything stood.

The resort was beautiful, very clean, and the staff were amazingly kind and helpful. We were greeted with drinks and a "welcome home" upon check-in. There are plenty of options for food, seriously if you're hungry while there, it's your own fault. If you're a big drinker, bars are only open starting at 10 am and close at 11 pm each night. They have nightly entertainment at 8 pm, and there are plenty of other activities scheduled throughout the day. The rooms were clean and spacious, but echo badly due to the long hallways outside and the tall ceilings in the room. Bring ear plugs, or you'll be awakened several times at night with people closing doors or carts/luggage rolling down the hall. I will say the pictures of beach are very misleading. It is a VERY small swath of beach and it is right next to the ferry/pier to Cozumel so the water is muddy/rocky and not very good for swimming. If you're looking for a hotel with a great beach, this is not the one for you. The main pool is amazing though, and there's a smaller pool up on the 3rd floor if you'd prefer a quieter location. Pool towels open at 7:30 am and if you want a chair with a shade or one under an umbrella, you better be up early to claim your spot. The pool cabanas are not free at the pool or the beach, so prepare to pay if you want one of those. Lastly, bring cash for tips.

It was our second time at this resort. The staff and property did not disappoint. Everything up to our expectations as again we never felt like we had to wait for anything. One thing better this year was the entertainment. Although the venue area is small the quality of the entertainment was excellent. If you have not been here before understand the staff of the resort has been here a long time and are very efficient and professional at their jobs. Respect them and they will respect you back. There wasn’t hot water for 3 days in the hotel, not only my room but the entire hotel, it is just hard to believe that they couldn’t solve this problem. When I arrive at 3 pm my room wasn’t ready I had to wait 30 minutes. The staff is great, super friendly

There is no beach access from pool, went two days with no hot water. This is a small resort which has its pros and cons. Needs more dining options. Steakhouse served 16 of us raw steaks, even after sending them back they were still raw. Mexican and Italian restaurants were very good. Staff was exceptional!!

I don’t have nothing else to say than everything was perfect. The staff is very welcoming and so kind. Great food, awesome activities, a very good spa and just overall all a perfect experience.

They said service dogs were allowed . Before I booked on Exspedia check in went great . Then after we checked in every eating facility said service dogs were not allowed. So my husband quickly tried to get food . They allowed him to fill a tiny styrofoam box at the buffet . He grabbed chocolate and chocolate bon bons at the resort . To run back to his service dog that was in our room. He went to the bathroom while I was running down to get my food.His service dog got into his chocolate and I had to transport his service dog to emergency. Then my husband refused to eat or drink and blamed himself. After my husband then went into a cardiac distress , no one took me serious at the hotel , I told them I needed to get my husband food right away I waited hours. I had to beg the bartender to please blend fruit in a blender , with salt and sugar. So he wouldn’t die from his diabetes from not eating. Then I tell the manager my husband is in medical distress and he calls me and says Oh I have good news you can now bring your service dog to the restaurants. I said thanks but I think he is dying. So for an extra charge they offered doctor assistance.My husband turned purple they said he needed to go to the emergency room. But by that time he was not coherent . This caused an incredible serious situation. The manager said he cannot die in the hotel. So I got emergency services to transport him to a hospital. The hotel took no responsibility In any fashion.

It was insect infested, elevators didn’t work, unruly guests that were not contained by the staff, NO PARKING FACILITIES and not mentioned anywhere, terrible food. Long waits at check in. Staff unresponsive with noisy neighbors. Overall, one of the worst managed hotels I’ve ever stayed at.
