Stanford Court San Francisco

Good value - hip but still friendly

Staff members were super helpful. Comfortably upscale but relaxed enough that I was not self-conscious traveling with my energetic 9 year old son. Saw one other family with a kid; most guests seemed younger/professional/cosmopolitan. But happily not in a partying way. Lounge restaurant food was tasty though (like all good food in SF) not cheap. Very nice workout room. Hotel room was pleasant though it felt urban-boutiquey because of small wardrobe rack in room (as opposed to having an actual closet). Groovy vibe in general. Lobby sundries were very limited but if you need a big gift shop you can walk across the street to the Fairmont.

Tilden Hotel

Brief stay but pleasant

Despite being in a less than ideal location the hotel was a notch or two above the area. It was a pleasant surprise.

Ramada by Wyndham San Bruno SFO Airport

Close to airport and restaurants

The staff was accommodating as he let us checked in early at 12 PM. Very considerate. The only issue was he hotel shuttle took a lot longer than expected. Location is great and very quiet community around. You can have peace of mind and its safe to go around the area.

The Westin St. Francis San Francisco on Union Square

Great room, great view, but SF pricey.

I was very pleased with the room and amenities. The room that I was in was very spacious and the view was great. It was pricey...but then so is all of San Fran.
