Long line for check-in, it took more than 30 minutes. The bed may have bed bugs. I got several bits after one night stay.

Amazing hotel at great location. The staff are very helpful as well.

Clean and convenient. Perfect place to stay in SF.

Decent room and good location.. newly renovated rooms but pretty small. Hotel overall clean and staff average.. expensive parking but close to shopping and restaurants

The location was good as we attended the Nutcracker Ballet at the Opera House only a few blocks away. Check in was long as so many were checking in at same time (5:45 pm for our arrival time). The lower levels are lovely and decorated for Christmas. The room we had (double queen) was nice however there were stains on the carpet. The beds were the best part of the room; extremely comfy! Of course parking was quite pricey but then SF is an expensive holiday destination. Our breakfast in the hotel was not what I expected for the prices charged. Our waitress was abrupt and hurried. I realize there were many tables and she was busy however you expect the hotel would staff properly for the holidays and the increased number of guests! My breakfast (Eggs Benedict) was nothing exceptional and the potatoes were ordinary hash browns, not what was described on the menu. The small dash of sauce barely covered the egg and English muffin and the ham was so thin I could not taste it! My daughter did the buffet but it too was nothing exceptional. I would stay again but eat elsewhere!

Check in was great - very helpful person. We missed the gingerbread house.

The front desk staff was rude and unwilling to address concerns regarding the protests happening outside. Would not stay here again.

Staff was very accommodating but due to labor negotiations, our stay was disappointing from lack of services, disturbing racket with picketers outside at all hours, elevators not working, lack of maid service for our room and a serious fall due to slick marble at the entrance. I have stayed there many times and this hotel has been my top choice for service and location - but not this time.

It’s very clear the hotel is suffering from the strike

Beautiful and comfortable! Check in is fast and easy. Staff is respectful.

Staff on strike. Had a hard time retrieving car from valet. Clock bar service was poor. Strikers were very noisy. Check in clerk was awesome!

We were placed in a handicapped room where everything was awkwardly placed and low, there was no bedside table on one side of the bed so my husband had to place his phone and water bottle on the floor at night or get out of bed to charge it at the desk. Bathroom was old, dingy and dirty especially tiles, had to shower in flip flops for the lack of cleanliness, We could not check out soon enough!
