It was a fine place to stay. Has an outdoor pool in the middle of san francisco

Great locatation. Friendly helpful staff. A very enjoyable stay for my family

Very quiet, super friendly staff. Everything was easy, parking, check in and check out. One of the best ever and will definitely stay here again!!!

Although this hotel is quite old, it is very comfortable. I must say it is a bit pricey for what you get. Stores such as Macy's and express are walking distance. Overall a decent hotel right on union square.

loved the location. needed more outlets . friendly staff. the grill right on site was nice.

Great hotel at a good price in the heart of San Francisco. Incredibly quiet.

I had stayed at the Handlery on several occasion so I knew what to expect. The staff was courteous and helpful. I particularly appreciated their help in obtaining a taxi for me. The rooms were clean and cleaned and made up in the morning. So I didn't have to wait. I especially liked the hotel's location since I could easily reach Union Square, the bus tours, and the cable cars. I will be using the Handlery again on my next visit to San Francisco.

small rooms, unfriendly staff, no way to change air control in our room, only 1 elevator working, outrageous parking fee for hotel guests.

The Handlery Hotel is an older hotel that has been renovated. It has some lovely touches such as the original mailboxes. The room was small, but comfortable. TV didn't work very well, but staff came to fix it. Staff very helpful. Hotel centrally located.

It is an old hotel with character. The staff was OK. Expensive as compared to what you receive. Spent one night, the room looked directly into other rooms approximately 30 to 40 ft. Toilet did not flush correctly, very noisy and small room. Twin double beds, we not bad to sleep on. Parking was 59 per 24 hrs, even as a hotel guest.

Perfect location and the staffs are awesome. But the hotel facilities are not very satisfying. The room smells strange, and the furniture is covered with dusts.

Great hotel with friendly staff! The location is perfect as it's close to major tourist spots and public transportation. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area.

We were 3 blks from Bart, 1/2 block from touring buses, city buses and cable car was a 2 block walk.

From arrival to departure everyone was nice and the hotel itself was very nice. It was conveniently located to everything. came into the City to celebrate nephew and niece's 40th Birthdays...

Stayed there with my fiance to meet family & friends for some wedding planning & dress shopping. It has several room options that appealed to everyones price points & it was right in the hub of Union Square. Shopping & restaurants steps outside of hotel room. We got a room with a balcony for the city view but I'd recommend rooms along the inner portion of the hotel because the people & cars were a bit noisy.

I arrived extremely early, however the woman at the reception looked for an available room for me and got me checked in within a few minutes. The fitness center is basic and includes a pool. My room was a single and was just what I needed for my stay. Everything was clean and orderly. I must have not looked at the map correctly, but didn't realize it is basically across the street from Union Square.

It was just Okay. They screwed up our room first but gave us the right room when complained. Air conditioner was leaking, there was no view from the room, bathroom had no fan. Not great smell in the room.

Loved the room and was very comfortable! Highly recommend

Food was soggy, greasy and inedible. Reported it and they didn't care. Room was very small by U.S. standards, was like a London room. Very limited ability to control room temperature. Overall disappointed in the hotel.
