Visiting the youngest daughter for a few days. This was close to her apartment.

Check in and check out was easy. Nice car and good food.

Good location. Festive lobby. I didn't care for the fitness center at the hotel. Bad design! No sauna or steam room was a big let down. Rooms are average.

Overall a good stay at another W property, although there was a strange (and prominent) "smell" inside the entry of the room.

Deeply dissapointed of my stay in this W hotel. The room was not far to stay in a Holiday Inn or less. The staff is not friendly (with one exception) . Our car was left in the valet and in the night was tried to be opened. The Reservation was not found at first place and all of our stay was dissapointing. Rey to choose another hotel.

Nice lobby, lounge style, with DJ and atmosphere at night, good for drinks, dinner or grabbing a byte; Valet parking $64 per day, very expensive since you are already paying a lot for a room. hotel in good condition, very clean. Was expecting more for the hotel bathroom, a better tile or modern look, for me should be more updated for a W. no black-outs in the room so its very clear in the morning. the staff is really helpful and attentive. beds are comfortable. walking distance to union square, and next to moma museum. love the decor on the elevator.

Loved it! We live in San Francisco and my husband and I decided to take staycation at the W hotel we got upgraded to a corner room with a beautiful view of mascone center and Yerba buena gardens . The room was beautifully designed spacious and was very comfortable ! A great place for Valentine's Day!

Staff are nice and everything, but everything takes forever. 2 stations only for check in, 30 minutes to get a drink in lobby bar.

It was my first time staying at a W. I went to SF to celebrate my 30th and decided it was appropriate to splurge a bit. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Since I was with 3 other girls we always needed extra towels and amenities. When I called the Whenever Whateverline, they always showed up within 10 mins. I won't say too much here because there are a few cute surprises to the hotel throughout the day but I definitely enjoyed my stay. The hotel was located near other hotels, Walgreens, Sushiritto, and other restaurants. Whenever we wanted to go somewhere, we took an Uber and between the 4 of us, we spent no more than $6/person.

The hotel was very modern, the lounge was cool, the food in the in house restaurant was excellent, we could walk to all the places we wanted, they got us a nice crib for our baby, and the price was good for SF. The room was a little small and there was no pool, but that is what we expected in SF. The gym was kinda futuristic looking and had good options for my workout. Noise was low from other rooms and streets.

Location is awesome. Staff is great, but they were a little light at the bell desk. Room was a bit on the small side- understood for SF- but cluttered. Tons of food and knick-knacks for sale all over the place and a clock that is more kitsch than function.

I enjoyed everything in this hotel, location, room, common areas and the staff.

Close to hop on hop off bus. Walking distance to everything. Room is ok. Could have had a nicer view. My room was facing a bridge thats being renovated, so theres really nothing to look at. The bed was comfortable but it ouch deb better for the price were paying. Decor is hip and modern. There's a DJ for brunch! Where else can you find that? Only in SAN FRANCISCO!

Great Price, hotel is clean and modern. was more suitable for adults than children, rooms are clean and updated, mini bar has full size bottles and not locked up, did not like that for the teenagers with me. Ice machine broken on floor 23. Be advised the lobby area is more like a party every night so careful with the young kids.

Classy, trendy, & perfect spot for 20-30 something's. Amazing Bar and staff make you feel more than welcomed.

Came to San Fran for the Labor Day Weekend. The staff were friendly immediately and our room was ready when we got there in the late morning. The room is cute with all the usual stuff including Bliss spa products. I love the glowing Buddha in the room with the metaphysical message of good will. My complaints are that our view was a post apocalyptic scene (construction site), we could clearly hear our neighbors music playing in the morning, there is no coffee in the room, you have to pay for WiFi (!!!) and the bathroom door is a frosted glass sliding door, whereas I prefer a regular old fashioned door that one can actually shut and have a minute of privacy. I don't know why so many hotels are doing this with the bathrooms these days, but when you're traveling with an acquaintance rather than an intimate partner, it's kind of uncomfortable.

The room I was in was very clean and the staff was courteous.

We came here to celebrate my sister's 30th birthday and enjoyed our stay. It was conviently located and the staff was friendly. They catered to our needs and was on top of things! Highly recommended :)

Quite possibly one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at in SF. Right when we arrived everything was ready for us to check in. Staff was amazing. We requested an extra fridge so we had room for our medication that needed to be refridgerated and they brought it right up. Any guests I had they called me and they were promptly let up to the room. Only bummer about the whole trip was when we went to go to the pool to find out it was under construction and they won't be having one anymore. Other than that, great customer service, room was very clean and pretty much met every expectation we had when it came to staying at the W hotel. Thank you and can't wait to stay here again!

Hotel was adequate for my needs, one night stay on business trip. The water pressure in the shower was very poor, and definitely needs to be addressed. My main complaint was the construction, which was directly below my 4th floor window. I woke up to the sound of banging pipes at 8am. I understand that some rooms would be affected by noise during construction, though if there was another room to place me in, they should have. I do not know if they were at capacity that night, though it seemed very quiet. Room was clean, no other complaints. Not sure if I would stay there again though.
