The front staff was super friendly and helpful. The check-in was easy. The bar and lobby areas are excellent! The gym is beyond cool! It was clean, well-equipped and has the perfect lighting. Also, it's within walking distance of a lot of cafés, restaurants, bookstores, shops, museums, etc. We're definitely staying here again!

Kat at the W has been extremely kind and helpful. I got an upgrade and joined their Marriott Bonvoy membership (which is free), and breakfast/the restaurant was worth the value so so much! The view is great, lobby is nice and big, great for meeting people. The king bed does have a wooden frame that I have bumped and scratched my leg a few times already, and I wish the upgraded room had a couch to rest on aside from the balcony seating view space. Everything else has been extremely welcoming, and the staff have made it an enjoyable stay!!

Everything was great but rooms are hot. You need better ac unit where the customers can control the ac and heater. It’s so hot and stuffy in the room. Couldn’t sleep at all.

Room was ok. Bartenders were not friendly nor personable. The atmosphere was not at all like it is at the W in Scottsdale, AZ. The bell hop & checkin were a plus for sure. They were very friendly. The Halloween event not worth the trouble. They had 5 different genre music rooms. The EDM room was more of a top 40's. Just dissopointed overall

The room was beautiful, very modern looking and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. I downgraded one star because the bar and menu items were quite pricey. The location is perfect for Moscone Center and the SFMOMA.
