Great value. Very clean, Updated. Limited parking. Quiet area except was noisy with room facing street. Great location near Golden Gate Park.

The room was small but comfortable, clean (with a smell of air-freshener when I first went in), air-conditioned (important during the heat wave, and not guaranteed in San Francisco). I chose this hotel because it is very conveniently located to the Richmond district, the Golden Gate Bridge and Golden Gate Park. It was reasonably priced and had parking. There is nothing fancy about this place; it is an old-fashioned motel.

Don't judge from the outside. The inside is up to date, modern and clean. Bed was comfortable, got a quiets night sleep. Management was very friendly and helpful. Would stay again. Price is great for S.F.

Very clean room with comfy beds. Nice bathroom with a shower. Parking is a big plus (but first come first served). Totally recommend.

Clean bed, friendly staff, clean rooms and upgraded bathrooms. Free parking is a plus.

I really liked the feel of the room - wooden shades, nice colors, granite bathroom, soft bed :) Warm, cute and cozy.

The hotel offer free parking (limited space) which is main reason we booked this 2-star hotel. Hotel room is small but it has everything we need including microwave and refrigerator. The bathroom is recently renovated and clean. Breakfast is simple but there's a lot of restaurant around this area.

Geary Parkway Motel was extremely clean, comfortable and convenient - I would stay here again. It was within walking distance of the Presidio, San Francisco Museum of Fine Arts and Botanical Gardens. There is also a bus stop just in front of the motel that goes to/from downtown. Parking is on site however after 5pm, you may have to park on the street. Geary Parkway Motel is a fantastic place!

Clean rooms with free parking Very convenient location to visit VA Hospital.

The place is well located to what I had to do in San Francisco.

This is a comfy, cozy, little motel with FREE parking! The hotel manager is great and very accomodating. If you want to stay away from the hustle and bustle of downtown and be closer to the two bigger parks and the beach, this is one of the best value places to stay in the area for sure.

What a charming little motel! Clean, cozy rooms, an accommodating manager and free parking, nothing beats that in a big city! If you are looking to stay away from the hustle and bustle of downtown SF, to be closer to the city's two biggest parks and the beach, this is absolutely the place to book!

Unexpected great staff and pleasant accommodations in an expensive hotel city. Away from downtown but on a Muni bus line, this motel offered fine value at pricing expected in smaller cities. Staff most helpful and attentive, room compact with a king bed, table, chairs, iron, board and hair dryer, along with microwave and large refrigerator. Ice machine worked well. Little noisy with adjacent Geary ( ask for room away from street); parking minimal and spaces really tight. Street parking available. Great sushi restaurants in neighborhood. Great budget choice .

This motel was chosen, because it is cheap and it is located in the center of San Francisco, with an easy access to get in/out. But the security can be a real concern, as homeless people can come in to sleep in the hallway. In fact, we were waken up in the middle of the night by loud noises and creepy movements by a stranger who decided to come in to sleep in the hallway right next to our room. Needless to say, we were not able to sleep, but he seemed to have slept very well, snoring louldy, coughing and screaming while soundly sleeping, until we came back from breakfast and told the hotel manager. The hotel manager and his lady companion were not friendly at all. Both have a strong accent and they seemed to just stare at us when we tried to talk to them. No smile, or no gesture of kindness that typical hotel staff seem to show at any hotel. It was very unusual to encounter hotel staff who display this kind of attitude to their customers. When we came back at 11:15 AM, the room key did not work, and we found out that we were locked out of the room, even though the hotel manager had agreed that we can check out by noon. No apologies from the manager, but his female companion simply said it is electronically set-up that way and that someone would open the door for us. While waiting, I saw a house cleaning lady nearby, who, at any hotel, typically has a master key, and I asked her if she can open the door for us. Before she can answer, the manager's lady companion got mad, yelling at me. When I asked her if she has any problem, she did not answer, but the hotel manager told her something in Indian. Again, no apologies, nor any explanation from him on her strange outburst.

Great hotel! The amenities and location were superb. We were within walking distance of many sites, restaurants and activities. There was a bus line just outside the hotel that went into Downtown, Land's End and beyond. Parking was provided but be in by 5pm or you'll be looking for parking on the street.

Nice location, walking distance to a lot of restaurants. Not many expectations for my first time staying in the area. Wanted to be close to USF and that's what I got.

Not much to say, it's a motel that is clean and very well priced for the location. Includes parking (assuming there will be a spot for you). Would definitely stay again.

This Motel is in an awesome location and is very fairly priced. The room was comfortable and clean. We would definitely recommend this place! The only down side is that outside noises can be clearly heard through the walls. It's nothing a good pair of earplugs can't fix, though.

The room and bathroom were clean and spacious enough. The bed was comfortable. The only issue is the room faced noisy Geary Ave.

We arrived late in the evening (8:30)and the hotel manager was sitting in the office waiting for us. There was one space left in the lot & was just big enough to fit the economy car! Not many spaces available and I did see some street parking but I don't know if metered or not. The hotel is on a busy street and our room was on the 1st floor near the pop machine. We heard the noise, but it was not that bad. I brought ear plugs and did not use them. The room was small, but extremely clean. The bathroom deco is beautiful. There is very little counter space and the shower is only about 4 x 4 feet, if that. Guests get a comfy bed, micro & refridge for the price, which is outstanding for the area. We missed breakfast-before 9am but apparently juice & danishes only. There is no lobby or access to a computer. Bus stops are right outside the hotel.
