Been here multiple times and we absolutely love this hotel.
Right in Union Square. Perfect access to anywhere downtown. Free wifi is enjoyable. Only the parking is a little expensive.
Room was fine. No pool which always saddens me. Walls are very thin so you hear all your neighbors business. Surprised they didn't encourage enrollment in Hyatt club for points and use of the Hyatt club
Very dated hotel. Only good thing is the central location. Hotel itself needs a lot of work.
Good overall hotel. This is the second time staying here. This time we could hear the elevators. It wasn't too bad but we rather not hear them. We did not have a good view--roofs of other buildings.
Clean room and good facility, will definitely use again for next trip.
Hotel was clean and convenient. Staff friendly. Nice coffee shop. Comfortable Lobby. 2 blocks from Chinatown. 1 block from cable car. 1/2 block from Union Square.
Good hotel and location. Service is not consistent - some staff were great, whereas some were not so much.

Very loud, didn't get enough sleep. Staff were not concerned. Asked for cettle, received total dirty with left overs from last use. Called 3 times to replace. Walls don't appears to have any sound insulation as we could hear everything next door. We were expecting it to be much better. Decent view though.
A return visit to San Francisco for a couple of days before a wedding. Check-in was swift; granted our request for a higher floor. Fast elevators. Smallish rooms, but it is SF. Well-decorated. Could use some more outlets since we all carry computers and phones that need recharging. Bathrooms were well-appointed and water pressure excellent. Fast elevators. Doormen were helpful and there was no pressure to valet park. Diagonally across the street from a public lot. Great location for walking to SFMOMA, Ferry Building, Moscone Center, cable car. Apple store next door. Only issue-no credit for Hyatt Passport for stay because we used a third-party booker.
they treat us just nice! i have a baby and they had everyrhing readyvfor her!!! all her baby bath stuff water, food lovely
It took them 5 hours to respond to our phone call that the toilet was broken

I've stayed in many hotels in many cities and I can honestly say this was a poor excuse of a high end, major city hotel. It starts at the arrival when the valet parking was backed up nearly a half block from the hotel - with no major event occurring. And this was at 9 pm on a Thursday not at normal check in time. Once in the room the digital tv did not have signal on many channels. ABC, NBC, CBS, ESPN, were amongst the channels that did not work. maintenance came multiple times but could not fix it. Then the front desk said they would give me some sort of credit but I never saw it. They can have the credit. Grand Hyatt will never get my business again!
The front desk people were outstanding allowing us an early checkin. The bed, to say it was comfortable is an understatement. The doorman was always there to lend a helping hand.
The room was nice but the heater was barely able to keep the room warm.
Very nice hotel, convenient location. Hotel staff is good. The bed could be further improved.
My favorite place to stay in San Francisco. I love the location. The rooms are great and the bed is super comfy. There is an awesome view from the workout room. Each floor and the workout room have refill stations for your personal water bottle!! The concierges are very helpful.
