Pet friendly. Great hotel and very comfortable. Note Several block walk for grass for dog relief.

Enjoyed the hotel. The night clerk was very good at recommending places to eat. Hotel is fairly well located for the price paid

Queen bed was uncomfortable Room very small Decor was cute Valet took forever! No matter what time it was

Although there was a power outage in San Francisco when we arrived but were unable to check in. With all of that we still had to get dressed for a wedding. The hotel staff was very accommodating and helpful. Benji, the concierge, was extremely helpful and took our checked bags to our room, even before we returned from the wedding reception.

most important feature for a downtown hotel: It is quiet

The hotel rooms are outdated and our bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on in my life.

Hotel a nice large boutique hotel. Offered free upgrade to me at check in. Room was very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated.

Nice hotel. There is a daily service fee, but they have a free wine hour and free wifi.

Shower was dirty, Fire alarm battery was low but staff didn't have replacements so it beeped all night long. Staff was nice.

Nice hotel close to union square. Dog friendly is a plus. It was raining during our trip and hotel provided complementary nice big umbrellas. Hotel staff are very helpful. Great restrurant on site.

Hotel is nice, but a bit worn and in need of attention in some areas (furniture in lounge/lobby). Staff were wonderful and I did enjoy my stay. Felt safe and well cared for in downtown SF.

Took the family couldn't have had a better stay. Morning Coffee in the Parlour a nice touch.

Location is right in the middle of where you want to be. Close to Union Square shopping and close enough to the other tourist attractions. Staff was very friendly and extremely helpful with suggestions on things to do. Highly recommended.

Nice location. Poor TV choices. Smoke alarm battery died late in the evening. Batteries in safe were dead. Housekeeping missed my room the first day. Nice towels and linens. Room clean. Staff VERY friendly

the location is very convenient, close to Union Square, Nob Hill and Chinatown. The hotel offers free coffee in the morning and happy hour complimentary wine.

The Hotel employees were all courteous. The hotel itself was an older hotel , but in very good condition with lots of character .

Room very hot overnight. Junior suite upgrade was nice.

Pretty hotel but no amenities. They charge an amenities fee but they don't have any amenities in room. No coffee maker, Had to go down to lobby to get coffee. View of air conditioning unit. Room was very small, couldn't even open shutter shades to window.

The Marker was an excellent hotel, close to the Financial District, Embarcadero, Market Street and Union Square. The staff were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere of the common spaces as well as the room was welcoming, comfortable and fun. The attached restaurant had excellent service and the bar was fun (projecting old movies on the wall throughout the day/night). I booked this hotel last minute and I really couldn't have been happier.

We were very close from Unión Square The hotel is very comfortable
