My 2 night stay was very satisfactory. Staff was pleasant and the room was spotless clean with all of the bells & whistles of far more expensive hotel room.

First off the hotel is in a great location! Close enough to Union square, the Embarcadero, shopping and lots of food. It's also not too far from Oakland and Berkley or the museums on the West side of town. As for the hotel, it's a Hilton- they are great hotels. Clean, nice staff. The rooms have PeterTHOMASRoth products which are insanely good. Breakfast was a bit expensive ($29/person buffet) but it was decent. The staff was VERY helpful every time we asked for anything and I really feel like they went above and beyond to make us welcome and comfortable. We booked this at an amazing rate and couldn't believe we paid $120. Note breakfast for the 4 of us cost the same as the room! I'm sure I've seen this same hotel for close to $350 other times I've gone to SF and I can say it would be worth that during peak season.

I got a good deal through Orbitz, but it would be nice to know beforehand that they charge $55 to park overnight ($60 valet) (before tax) (I don’t know the parking cost in the area to say whether this is reasonable or not, but there is a public parking across from Hilton). Our room was very comfortable though, especially the bed. And it was nice quiet at night.

No fridge in room, shower fan wasn’t waitingand most of all Didn’t like the hidden fee of parking witch is $60/day plus tax, other then this every thing was ok,

I liked our stay. Very conveniently located close to all main attractions. We ate in Chinatown and surrounding areas and enjoyed every bit of it.

My stay was good. The hotel is in the Financial District but on the border of Chinatown, so it is a little sketchy at night. Other than that, I had a good stay at this location. I would recommend it to people on a budget. Thank you.

Pros: location; our double bed room was a decent size for sf; price; hotel parking is really expensive but there's a 24 hr parking garage across the street for half the price. Our room on 16th floor was really quiet. Cons: Room wasn't ready when I arrived at 8pm. I had to wait in the hallway with my luggage so housekeeping could clean the room. Not acceptable. I felt like we were invisible to hotel staff. They didn't tell us elevators only work with hotel key after 11 pm. Another guest helped us there. No greetings, smiles or assistance from staff. In room coffee is a mix of coffee and tea. I thought it was gross and didn't drink it. Woken up by alarm at 5am. Maybe housekeeping could turn off all alarms?

Overall positive though the rooms are very old. The windows aren't clean and carpet looks ugly and old. Location, convenience staff and breakfast are good and is a good spot to stay. If you don't intend to spend much time in the room then it's an ideal spot

First, I booked the hotel with a guarantee bay view and 1 king bed. Paid up front for it using orbitz. Moment I arrived, they sold the room to another customer and offered only a queen bed with no view or a two twin size bed with no view. I asked for a different rate since I paid more for the view and a king. Front desk didn't even bother to ask a manager just flat out said no. Of course I had no choice stayed at the queen bed room with no view. Cleanliness? Had major dust. Before we slept we had to dust our own blankets off and our pillows. Walked around the room with socks, and it had accumulated a lot of dust from the carpet. Overall I would not stay there again. For convenience it is less than a block away from China town and strip clubs. Other than that, I would not stay again.

Clean, friendly staff, good location, decent value, expensive parking.

I have stayed at this hotel several times now. The bay views are very nice. The beds are comfy. Overall a good choice as it centrally located. Some of the staff could be more friendly and helpful.

Hotel is probably the worst Inhave stayed on. One day they even not make up the room. To try to get away of it the said the so not disturb sign was on, which is totally false. Second the tryed to charge a smoking fee when Indont even smoke. Be careful, never stay at that hotel.

They had a little mix up with the rooms but made it up by giving us a nice room with a great view of the city and the bay.

The hotel's location is great. It's closer to North Beach than the Financial District, which was ideal for us. Our room was very clean and comfortable, just a tad smaller than we like. The only downfall was my interaction with the hotel staff. At check in, I felt like we were bothering them and made very little eye contact. They could use a customer service refresher. Overall, the hotel is overpriced compared to similar hotels who offer friendlier customer care.

4 day trip for some site-seeing, shopping and eating. being close to chinatown and north beach allowed us to have numerous restaurants to choose from. relatively close to most public transportation. overall a pleasant experience.

The staff were helpful and courteous. We had a quick issue with parking which the staff quickly handled.

Good location near Pier 39/ Fisherman's Wharf Was able to check in early which was a pleasant surprise Helpful staff , very clean hotel and felt secure.

So when we arrived, the people working the reception desk seemed oddly detached and unenthused. I wouldn't say unfriendly but something just below annoyed for whatever reason. The lobby seemed perfectly nice with the usual bar and restaurant atmosphere. However, when we went to our rooms we observed a couple things. The hallway was very dimly lit and the carpet and wallpaper were very old. The room itself was relatively clean but had strange musty odor in in various places. They were also various things that were broken in the unit. It's clear that this hotel needs to be renovated. There is no refrigerator which was a bit disappointing. The most disappointing part of the stay was the sound of intercourse in the next room while our children slept. The restaurant staff at the breakfast buffet for excellent. It was nice to be in the middle of Chinatown.

The room was not worth all the money at all. Too many hidden fees.

Nice, clean hotel. Knowledgeable and friendly staff.
