Hotel is close to things, not bad but seems pricey. Works well.

IN FACT MY WIFE AND I ARE PLANNING ANOTHER TRIP TO SAN FRANCISCO IN MID-SEPTEMBER 2017. AND WE WOULD LOVE TO STAY AT THE FRANCISCO BAY INN IF WE WOULD BE OFFERED A BETTER RATE. BETWEEN $130.00 TO $150.00 PER NIGHT IS OUR BUDGET THIS TIME AND WE ARE PLANNING TO CHECK IN SEPTEMBER 10TH. AND CHECK OUT SEPTEMBER 15TH. The staff was very cordial and accommodating. The room extremely clean and comfortable Nice refrigerator and microwave convenience Bed was very well made Bathroom was huge and spacious Overall, I had a very comfortable two nights, and would stay there again. Hugs J

One tv channel. Dated carpet. Small room. Overpriced. Mold on shower curtain. Not as convenient to downtown as advertised. Clerk was very nice and helpful. Was able to leave our car while we went on a tour. Beware of the high tax added to the bill.

Hotel was older, but the room didnt feel outdated. Easy to hear through walls and foot/car traffic outside the room. Parking was tricky, but the staff made it work by double parking people and holding their keys in the office. The hotel seemed to have a majority of foreigners staying there, who were rude almost everytime we encountered them. On two instances a foreign family tried to skip us in line at the hotel office for check in. In another instance two foreign gentelemen were standing at the hotel counter trying to use the office staff as their trip planner, preventing them from checking in other guests. This behavior was not isolated to the hotel though. We saw this almost everywhere we went in San Fran, so just be prepared to inform people that we have lines for a reason.

Great location. Easy walk to Lombard windy road and Pier 39. The room was clean and offered exactly what you need...a roof, a bed, a bathroom. The walls are kind of thin and you can pretty much hear everything, but if you walk everywhere you are too tired to even really notice when you finally do get back to your room at night. Staff for check in was not that great, but check out staff was much better.

Very tidy and neat. Liked fridge and microwave. I felt it was great bargain. Pleasantly surprised.

This hotel room was conveniently located to many place in San Fran (or a quick Uber ride). The rooms were very clean & the staff was super friendly. The beds weren't the most comfortable, but for the price & location, it is a great choice! Our room was on the street, and they warned us about traffic noise, but it didn't bother us at all.

Four floors up to my room in a funky old art deco glass elevator to my older but very clean room with a bit of a view of the golden gate. Pretty sweet for the price. Throw in free parking which can run forty of fifty bucks a day at some of the more expensive joints and it's an easy choice for me..

Not worth the money 170 per night. The hotel that i stayed with near airport is far way better than this one with only 100 per night.

Easy walk to Fishermans Warf. Friendly staff. Clean room, large bathroom, free parking, free wifi, free pastry and coffee in morning.

The hotel is perfectly located and comfortable- I was quite happy with it.

This Hotel is in a prime location and its walking distance from everything in Frisco. It's easy to take a bus or a $10 cab ride to the warf or union station or even china town. This hotel is also walking distance to fort mason and the beach. The cleaning service didn not service the room everyday day we were there and we had a short 3 day stay. They have free doughnuts in the morning. They were really excellent about calling a cab. I would stay their again with family.

I RESERVED A SINGLE ROOM WITH KING SIZE BED-I AM 6' 2 275LB MAN. I EVEN CALLED 5 WEEKS BEFORE TRIP TO INFORM OF LATE FLIGHT AND LATE CHECK IN WAS TOLD NOT A PROBLEM. I WAS GIVEN A ROOM WITH 2 DOUBLE BEDS. WHEN I ASKED ABOUT MY KING SIZE BED WAS TOLD DUE TO MY LATE CHECK IN THEY HAD NONE LEFT SO THEY UP GRADED MY ROOM. SMALLER BED IS NOT UPGRADE. ASKED IF I COULD BE MOVED WHEN ONE OPENED UP (10 DAY STAY ) NOT POSSIBLE. MY RESERVATION AND PHONE CALLS WAS NOT HONORED I FEEL. CLEAN GREAT LOCATION FOR MY NEEDS OTHER WISE.

The mattresses in the room need to be replaced, the floor what softer! Lots of noise from the street, on the bright side the do provide ear plugs. The room was pretty clean and the staff was nice they had fresh pastries in the morning but the coffee was instant, luckily there was a coffee shop with in walking distance.

This hotel is close to Fisherman's Wharf so you can park your car in their free parking lot and walk most everywhere. Parking at most of the hotels costs around $40 per night so this is a huge benefit. Most of the tours pick up at this hotel also. The rooms are dated and rather small but adequate for a short stay. The room has a/c, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, and is clean. The walls are thin and you can also hear people walking above you. Luckily we had quiet neighbors. There is also a lot of traffic noise since the hotel is on a very busy street. The rooms in the back are a little quieter. The hotel supplies ear plugs because of the noisy street. We actually slept fine since most cities quiet down late at night. There continental breakfast is only instant coffee and pastry so you will need to find a restaurant or bring your own breakfast stuff and eat in the room. There are restaurants nearby. You can also buy groceries at the Walgreens or Safeway near Fisherman's Wharf. Everything in San Francisco is expensive so this hotel is reasonable because of the location and the free parking. It is definitely not new or fancy but very adequate for a short stay. The rooms are so small that it would be difficult to have more than two people in a room. Marco runs the front desk and was very friendly and helpful. This hotel has more positives than negatives so worth the money if you want a reasonably priced hotel.

This hotel was OK, it served its purpose, not a lot of frills but comfortable enough for my short getaway. Please clean the carpets in halls and on stairs, they old and smelly
