Very happy with this hotel, very good staff, facilities with classic touches. Great location. Close to lots of restaurants, shopping, transportation, tour companies. Would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Great old hotel. Very clean. Great staff. Great location in Union Square. A little tight at the bathroom lavatory but that’s to be expected, and they clearly state that on their site. Although the weather was cool lack of AC made it slightly humid. Not enough to keep me from coming back though. Overall great experience.

Very clean. Staff were welcoming and knowledgeable. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised.

internet way too slow and intermittent. Cleanliness could be improved especially since the rooms are dated .

Convenience place located in Union Square. Surrounding by good food and shopping.

It's an older hotel and has a lot of character, but due to its age, its condition could use some upkeep. The room was comfortable, but the bathroom was small. The toilet seemed right up against the wall, the sink was so low that I'm not even sure a wheel chair could get under it--but the bathtub was roomy! And there was a walk in closet which was handy. The location was great and the staff was really helpful. I would stay here again, but I would hope for a room with a bathroom that had a little more room in it. Transportation was at the door step, and there were plenty of restaurants and cafes and little stores within easy walking distance of this hotel.

Great location. Off site parking across the street was convenient

Incredible place to stay. Friendly staff, fun bar for a sip before having supper. A joy in every way!

Classic Hotel in Union Square. Rooms were small but very clean and comfortable. The staff was great. The location was awesome and close to everything. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice amenities. Just steps from Union Square. Comfortable surroundings.

great location as it is Union square. I will stay there again very friendly staff and closed to many restaurants Greatly reccomended

This hotel is dated but in very good shape for its age. The value is very good overall for San Francisco and the location is convenient especially for meetings in the financial district. This was my second stay here in recent months for business travel and I’ll be staying here again next month. It’s not likely I would stay here for an extended stay, but for short stays for business purposes, I highly recommend this hotel.

The room was very small. The bathroom was not usable for the toilet because it touches the wall. And my own fault for not checking, but I would have never rented a room without air conditioning, because of this I had to keep my window open and listen to the other hotels striking noise from 7am until 10pm each day. The hotel neglected to tell me this until the day before arrival. Worse experience ever. Besides the staff being very kind, this was a vacation that ended up very disappointing.

IT was a cute boutique hotel that had very very friendly staff. IT was close to everything and easily accessible. There was no air condition which made the rooms a bit muggy, but the bathroom and room was clean and well renovated and well kept. There is a restaurant downstairs but the breakfast was $18 for something that should have been included in the price or way cheaper - not worth it. Overall the stay was good and the staff was the best.

Great location. Lots of places around to eat and shop. I’ve stayed here multiple times. The rooms are small but the hotel also has a character to it. The size goes in tandem with the nostalgic character of the hotel.
