Excelente, el hotel está muy bien ubicado, es tranquilo, limpio y el personal muy agradable.

Overnight stay with teenage son/ staff helpful/ location perfect

Very nice hotel staff -and helpful ; room dated but perfectly ok. TV programming limited. Bathroom very cute (liked vanity and floor vintage 1920's - very nice indeed). Disadvantages: could not open window (glued shut) only tight little shooting gallery slits at the top - but since S.F. has a good climate and there is a ceiling fan it was livable. Very noisy back ally with vagrants upturning garbage cans on a nightly schedule, and screaming like banshees around 3 and 4 am. (you can do nothing about this - the real victims are the the neighboring restaurant and some shop who have to clean up the mess each morning with shovels!) In all - I will recommend your hotel if asked. E Werner

Didn't like the room to small no refrigerator no breakfast elevator to small only one no doorman everything that was advertised was not in sight

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location is great, as it's close to many shops, transportation and restaurants.

Great stay! Hotel is quaint and cozy. Feels like your staying in a bed and breakfast. Centrally located and price is right for San Fran! Will stay there again!

Everything was great and staff was helpful. The room was clean and cosy.

The hotel is okay but the lobby and elevator need updating. Otherwise overall the hotel is satisfactory

Love this place. We've stayed there several times now. We love the atmosphere of its Winston's Lounge, friendly front desk, and central location.

The room was very dark, since the only window had an opening of about 3' x 2' and looked out into a small space to the next building. The wireless was sometimes very slow.

The rooms were small, however really charming! Bathroom also amall but new and cute. It had everything we needed. The staff were fantastic and very helpful. Heater was broken but they brought a portable one up. Great location to Union Square

Excellent location. Great service. Super clean. Cute hotel. Will stay again.

Great location. Just blocks from Union Square, Moscone Center, BART, Cable Car, Westfield Mall and Chinatown. Clean hotel. Room appeared recently renovated. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was tight but typical for the older hotel style. No real food and beverage outlets in the hotel other than a small lounge but plenty of choices in the neighborhood. Stayed the weekend after Thanksgiving at a rate less than half of nearby high end hotels. Overall, great value for the money. Would definitely stay there again.

This is a great hotel for the money, location was very convenient

Close to restaurants and transportation. Good location to enjoy San Francisco.

Good location and for San Fran not bad price either. Perfect for a quick overnight stay, perhaps not if you planned on spending a longer time in the city and looking for more comfort from accommodation

Great location , friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms

Nice clean hotel with excellent location. Very nice hotel staff. The only disadvantage is that the room is a little small.

I tried many SF hotels before, especially at Union Square area frankly speaking, this was the worst experience ever. The room was so small, we could barely move. The hotel looks quite old, there was this weird smell in the room, although it was a non-smoking one. And heads-up it's not easy to sleep here, it gets noisy at night in this area and the windows cannot block the noise. We decided to tolerate all these, as we were swinging by SF only for a couple of days, but I reached my boiling point when I saw a bug in the room. Itching of my legs were already bothering me, especially at night, but I did not check the room to see if it had to do with bedbugs or anything I don't know what that bug we spotted was probably was some other sort, but it did cause itching. We packed our bags and left the room, the reception didn't manage to issue well, but we ultimately got reimbursed, only for the night we didn't spend there though. I will never and ever consider spending even one night here.

Dear guest, Thank you so much for your feedback. We certainly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. I will pass along your kind words about the staff and your concerns with the window to our engineering team. Unfortunately, we tend to get "interesting" visitors in the surrounding area and I will make sure to alert our Union Square Business Improvement District. Sincerely, Candice Cancino General Manager
