Location! Love this hotel. I’ve stayed here twice already. Walking up and down the block gives you a true sense of the San Francisco lifestyle. It’s close to all of the major hotspots and great restaurants. The views from the top of the mark are picturesque. Staff is friendly. Rooms are dated but it goes with the vibe of the hotel.

Our stay here was nice and convenient for the weekend we planned. However, we "upgraded" our room to be high up with a bay view and were not at all impressed with it. The room was small, dated, and right beside the elevator -- with only a peek of the bay if you were standing at the right edge of the window.

Lovely place to stay, but without a fine restaurant. The famed Top of the Mark offers a nice view, but chances of having a nice conversation with your partner or group are invaded my popular live music instead of soft standards or jazz. It just seems out of place.

Great location. Upgraded to a bigger room on the 12th floor, which was nice. The hotel restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday nights, which is weird. The menu at the restaurant and at the Top Of The Mark is pretty limited. Quality of the food is okay, which is a little sad at a 4 star hotel. 7 dollars for a bottle of water in the room is a little much. Needless to say it went unopened. Again, it is the location and the Top Of The Mark that make this hotel.

Beautiful hotel. Take advantage of Top of the Mark!

This is an older hotel located in an excellent location. The water pressure in the shower was not strong enough but I am happy with my overall stay.

It was right between the wedding ceremony, rehersal party, and reception venues. The staff was eager to be helpful and curtious.

Beautiful, historic hotel on Nob Hill. Excellent service by everyone. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return in the future

The Mark needs some serious updating. The rooms looked really tired like they were last redone in the 90’s.

We loved the staff as they were always able to accommodate the exact features we wanted.

After an elongated hospital stay, I knees is a sanctuary to recover in. The staff and the chef were amazing. I will be returning again and again.

Hotel has great views, difficult to walk back to hotel since it sits at the top of SF. Rooms and bathrooms are small. Had bad experience with breakfast. ehen we went to have breakfast they would only accommodate members of Intercontinental Club but not hotel guests.

I love staying at the Mark whenever I'm in SF. It's as though I'm being cared for by a good friend.

Excellent staff that accommodates all of our requests and provided fabulous service. Would definitely stay again!

It is a beautiful traditional hotel. Lobby and restaurants are very pleasing to the eye. Although, the rooms decoration and carpet is OUT DATED.

There was no night light in the room. The bed pillows were uncomfortable. The fridge was prestocked with stuff, leaving no room for our own stuff. There's only one affordable restaurant nearby. I regret staying there.

It was a beautiful hotel and in a perfect location to take advantage of the amenities that the city has to offer. We were greeted by very friendly hotel staff and the accommodations were very comfortable. The view from the lounge on the top floor was worth taking the elevator ride to the 17 floor.

The hotel is beautiful and conveniently located within walking distance of many attractions and next to a cable car stop to keep from having to walk back up the hill. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The highlight of the hotelis the Top of the Mark, which is a true gem and one of my favorite places in San Francisco.

This hotel rip me off. Don’t stay here. They overcharge me and pay for night that I don’t need.
