Fairmont San Francisco

Every time we ordered a Martini we were charged an additional fee of 5.00 and were told it's because it was served "up"...Martinis are always up, the other bs fee was the 25.00 destination charge per day.

The Fairmont San Francisco is perfect. Not all rooms are equal at all though, and that should be stressed by orbitz. We had to opt for an upgrade at the front desk which cost $250 more

Love the hotel and the location. It’s like staying in a palace for few nights

We only stayed one night, it was a great hotel and would stay again

Beautiful hotel, very elegant, nice staff, nice view, walking distance to downtown!

Dirty bed linens, disinterested staff, uncomfortable beds.

Beautiful hotel in a central location but just a bit chillier than other parts of city because it is up on the hill and is kind of windy. After being there for the few days there I was actually very pleased with location and didn't mind the wind BUT the weather was beautiful when there so if any colder it may have been a tad more unpleasant up on the hill. I have stayed at few Fairmonts now and I have to say their beds and pillows are not that comfortable. My back always hurts because the bed is kind of hard with feather pillows (not down) so it feels like you are sleeping on bricks. Other than that lovely place.

Excellent hotel and staff. We ordered some food for room service, and it was average at best. They would be the only complaint.

Great service and staff. The price was pretty good for a sale day booking. The Fairmont is an old grand dame and shows a little of her age in the public rooms but our room was spacious with great view and lots of amenities. You’ll get your exercise walking up and down those hills to get there!

For the amount of money paid, I would expect a much different level of service. Will not stay here again.

Fairmont's gracious staff supported every part of our stay -- from checking in, valet, through the beautiful breakfast and superb bed.

Celebrated my birthday weekend in San Francisco. The person that checked me was super nice! He gave me a corner suite with beautiful views of San Francisco.

The Fairmont was top notch. Beautiful grounds, excellent staff, comfortable beds, luxurious linens, gorgeous upgraded bay view, beautiful bathroom, state of the art gym and awesome location. The history and grand elegance of our hotel made our trip to San Francisco unforgettable. The Powell Hyde cable car line dropped us right out front and we could walk down hill either way to North Beach, the Wharf snd Pier 39 and Union Square. The area of Nob Hill was beautiful clean and safe. We would stay here again and again and tell everyone we know to as well. Could not have been happier with our stay!

We had a beautiful corner room overlooking the roof garden and a The SF skyline. We were on the 5th floor. Higher would have made for a better view and I wouldn’t suggest lower. I was glad we were in the Tower instead of the main building as it looked much older going by the windows but I could be wrong. Very elegant hotel.

This is an excellent historic hotel located in the center of San Francisco. The hotel is pricey when it comes to room rates and food. The views are excellent from almost all of the rooms. The rooms are spacious and clean. I highly recommend staying in a high floor.

Beautiful iconic San Francisco hotel. Friendly helpful staff.

Good evening, I am so sorry about the service failures you experienced. May I have your last name so that I may investigate this? Thank you, Maggie Baker Basler
