The Fairmont San Francisco is a beautiful property. I have stayed here more times than I can count. This past trip was not the best room though. I would never booked an interior queen again. There were no black out curtains from the interior building lights, which made it difficult to sleep because the room was super bright. The room was also near the elevator and too noisy til at least 2am.

I felt like our stay was pretty good. Staff was kind and service was good. The room itself I felt was a little over priced for what it was. $300 a night for very basic amenities is not ideal.

great for the holidays .. very pretty and great for the family

Very tired hotel Too chaotic visually Horrible bar for a hotel this size Need a major renovation for such amazing building and location

I booked a $259 hotel. After fees, taxes on fees, service charges and parking - my total was $480. For a hotel that does not even put a 25c bottle of water in your room, next to your bed or anywhere else. Want water? $10. Beware. This fantastic building is run by a dated, bloated brand that is in severe decline, and the San Francisco hotel is the very epitome thereof.

It was very nice! Clean staff nice would stay again

I asked for AAA discount which they did not honor and would have only been a few dollars and made me happy. Bad policy when I paid a few thousand dollars to stay there. Go figure.

Location and service including prompt and great room service. Delicious food. Concierge very helpful with all our needs. Wonderful view of the Bay from our room at the tower. Will be back for sure.

Loved everything from the smooth and fast check-in to the fast and easy check out. Anytime room service was called, service was excellent!

BREATHTAKING! Fairmont looks amazing from the outside and first few steps into the lobby just confirms the majesty of the hotel! It's truly breathtaking! Even more impressive is the guest service Fairmont provides. My wife and I were treated like royalty (with a few very pleasant & unexpected surprises along the way) while celebrating our anniversary there last weekend. The hotel personnel went above & beyond to make sure our experience was the one to remember.....and it definitely was! Thanks Fairmont, San Francisco!

Beautiful older five star property in SF historic Nob Hill neighborhood. Value was great compared to other five star hotels in the city.

When we checked in, Edith was very helpful and friendly. She also mentioned that included in our rate was a destination fee which included certain amenities.

Beautiful hotel in great location. We chose it to celebrate a special occasion Stay was perfect until checkout. We waited about 45 min for our car to be pulled around despite calling ahead. The bell/ valet staff were disorganized and not helpful. This was hard to tolerate after paying $75 to park.
