Great location surrounded by a lot of things to do

Great location ,walking distance to China Town , hotel room is very clean and comfortable bed . Highly recommended........

Everything was great and we will definitely stay again.

Surprisingly good value for the price in San Francisco.

Very nice, newly built hotel with comfy bed and linens; great hotel staff who pointed out best eateries in Asheville; dog friendly

It was everything I could've hoped for. Good location comfortable clean friendly. I would gladly stay there again

Hotel was great. Staff was really friendly and kind! The only complain that I have is that the shower head in our hotel was short. I'm 6ft and I had to bend down a bit to take a shower. Other then that no complaints.

Great hotel, very friendly staff but rooms and look were a bit tired. Furniture in my room had peeling veneer and was worn. Gorgeous location on the top of the hill but be prepared to walk up and down extremely steep inclines for just about anything you do. Obviously, Uber or Lyft are great choices if you are not spry or in shape. One sink in bath could be problematic when the two of you are getting ready to go out. Bath flooring very dated. Water pressure good but hand help newer Toto shower wand did not have any adjustment for spray. NO bathrobes which I have come to expect in most hotels these days. All in all though, I did enjoy my stay. Good room rate made up for some of these issues.

The hotel is near the iconic church. Very accessible to cable car. One block you'll reach the China town. Ride the cable car down to embarcadero bart station. The cable car basically is adjacent to the hotel. You can reach north to south and east to west because it has a cross path that will lead you to very lovely tourists area in San Francisco. The only thing that I want them to at least improve is the scent of the bed and the pillows. Maybe I just like a fresh scent. My standard of approval is if the bed and pillow smell good . It means it is well taken care.

No water in rooms. No minbar. Bad tv reception. Housekeeping staff more concerned about their schedule than your comfort. I came back to my room about 3 pm to rest. The room was not cleaned. Once I laid down to rest, the staff called me 3 times to get in. Rude!

I was drawn to the hotel for its location on Knob Hill, its history, and the affordable room cost. The location was convenient to the Cable Car lines and a quick trip to China Town. The quality of the room was not as nice as a Hilton Garden, the bathroom was dated, but it was quiet overlooking the interior courtyard. The price of the room paid through Orbitz was NOT the full cost of the room. The hotel added a resort tax that covered the internet costs, use of the gym, staffing, and any other convenience they market as free. So if you are pricing this hotel and comparing to others, be sure to add a $20 dollar per night fee to your budget. The fee might be higher when you arrive at the front desk, you really won't know until you arrive.

Great fitness center. Staff forgot to clean our room on first day.

The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and clean. My kids and I had a great experience here and look forward to staying here on our next visit to SF.

Tired rooms, dirty equipment at the gym and a $22 URBAN FEE?

Convinent location, friendly stuff, clean room, free filtered water, free bicycle rantals.

The staff was extremely helpful and polite, especially at the front desk. Great location and a very comfortable atmosphere

Nice hotel. Close to union square. Used valet parking, though expensive seem to get money's worth, able to check in early and leave car until late in day. Coffee and tea in lobby. Good breakfast stop one Block down from Hotel.

Room was clean and fairly spacious. Bed was comfy and front desk was polite. Came in late because my flight was delayed and at 10:30pm there wasn't any place to get a light bite to eat. If planning to walk around town just be prepared that it is located on a steep hill so put your climbing shoes on.

This is hotel located right across the street from Fairmont and next to Ritz-Carlton. I would highly recommend the price is right and staff is friendly. They have free bikes that you can write to nearby places although the very steep hill makes it a challenge.

Really friendly, capable staff, fast valet, excellent amenities including free bike rentals, iPads, etc. Great room w/ comfortable bed. Reasonably priced for SF, and in a really good location.
