Great location . Bring your sneakers. Great food and transportation options close by.

It was a great hotel! Our stay was comfortable and the check in and out process was smooth. We arrived very early and were able to check in instead of waiting around for 6 hours. The staff member checked us in for a nominal fee and upgrade. The view was phenomenal even though we were on the third floor. The hotel is located on the top of nob hill which was a pain to walk to and fro, but well worth the experience. Parking is always a hassle, the hotel charges for daily parking, for us that was well worth it to pay the fee and not hassle around looking for parking. The rooms are clean, only issue we had was the cleaning lady would give us fresh towels when we needed them but never took the old ones, maybe we did something wrong lol. Overall, great hotel, central and easy to get to all the sights and shops.

I had been present at the "birth" of the Stanford Court in the 1970s, so it was to a very different hotel that I returned. The room and room decor was beautiful and crisp, but the lobby lacked all the grandeur of the original, and the services have gone. No full restaurant services, no hotel shops, as before, and the hotel is, really, not ideally located for walkers unless they are young and vigorous. But the "new" Stanford Court is very good value for money. I will return.

Great place to stay. Excellent area and the staff was kind and helpful

Two different cable cars crossed right in front of the hotel. One going to the pier, the other downtown. Sites on top of a steep hill.

Stayed one week - satisfactory in every way. Staff very courteous. I like the location as streets not as busy as other places. Room was OK for one person.

Shower criticisms: no shelf to put soap, etc., no grab bar, no towel rod. The out-the- door urban bundle fee is a joke and quite insulting.

Staff was friendly. The room was spacious and stylish. The location was convenient. I definitely recommend staying here.

Breakfast options are too expensive. Would appreciate a $10-$12 option for oatmeal, cereal, fruit and coffee

The hotel was in good condition and the staff was acceptable, maybe a little less friendly than some other places, but everything was totally fine.

I loved everything...except that there seemed to be a recycling/garbage compact machine within earshot of my room. Hard to sleep when it's so obnoxious loud between 10pm-6am?!

Nice location on top of Nob Hill at the intersection of two cable car lines. Easy access to all parts of the city.

Staff members were super helpful. Comfortably upscale but relaxed enough that I was not self-conscious traveling with my energetic 9 year old son. Saw one other family with a kid; most guests seemed younger/professional/cosmopolitan. But happily not in a partying way. Lounge restaurant food was tasty though (like all good food in SF) not cheap. Very nice workout room. Hotel room was pleasant though it felt urban-boutiquey because of small wardrobe rack in room (as opposed to having an actual closet). Groovy vibe in general. Lobby sundries were very limited but if you need a big gift shop you can walk across the street to the Fairmont.

Awesome location of the hotel, nice and clean room, and kind staff. The only down side of my experience was that I had to pay an additional $30+ per night to get a newly renovated room or else you’ll get an old room on the first floor on top of paying the $22 a night amenities fee. I also received an email from Orbitz saying I have free Continental breakfast for two for my stay which was not redeemable and was just given a $10 discount or 15% off my order instead by the front desk even after showing them the actual email.

I’ve been using this hotel for my weekend rendezvous. It doesn’t fail to amaze me .i felt the difference on their renovation. The hotel is pretty much accessible , the cable car stop is just adjacent to the front of the hotel and this will bring you to the great tourist destinations in San Francisco.

We were 1st gay couple to have our commitment ceremony here in 2006. They were wonderful to us then & ever since. We’ve.been back many times through some of their changes. We miss Fournous Oven & lemon soufflé pancakes. Some of the same staff roll out the red carpet for us, upgrade us & treat us well. They are working on more changes currently. We look forward to coming back.

Great staff! Great location! Great experience! Great stay!

Stayed at the Stanford Court during JP Morgan Biotech conference, which was nice since it's away from the craziness of Union Square during this meeting. Fitness center is very nice and has some virtual training simulators that are a nice touch. It's a bit of a hike up/down Powell St, which I liked, but if you're not a fan of that you can Uber quickly. Staff was very friendly and WiFi throughout the hotel was fast and reliable. Rooms are being updated, and mine was one of the newer ones but heard from others that the older rooms need some work. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Great room and service, excellent price. We will stay again!

I have wanted to stay here for many years and they did not disappoint. Great room, great location!!
