Club Quarters Hotel in San Francisco

4.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Easy walk to the financial district. Hotel is great for those who don't need the personal touch. Check-in is as efficient as airline self-in station.

Club Quarters at the Embarcadero is a very nice hotel. It is clean, and staffed with friendly, helpful employees. The location is close to BART and other public transport. Highly recommend it.

Good hotel if you are on a long trip, they offer free laundrey + dryer. If not for thata the hotel is ok since the location is not the best in san francisco but the staff makes up for it.

Small rooms. No wallet parking. Convenient location though.

Toilet did not flush properly, carpet had stains, could hear anyone walking up or down the fire stairs. There are so many other boutique hotels in the area that I'd recommend before this one, especially since the price point is the same for those other options. Never staying here again.

Excellent, friendly service from Kim at check-in and check-out. Rooms are a bit small, but not so much by San Francisco standards. Otherwise, excellent.

This hotel was disappointing from the moment I walked in. They are a strictly low budget affair and should be avoided unless there's no where else to stay in SF. The final straw was when I asked for a 1 PM check out instead of the standard noon check out. I'm a business traveler and had an early morning meeting that was scheduled to end at noon. I explained this to the people at the desk and they just keep repeating the same thing, "we're too busy to accommodate your request". This is the first time in my life a hotel refused to make the slightest effort to help out with a very real problem. These folks are the worst ever at customer service. Avoid this place at all costs. In addition, the rooms are small, the are incredibly cheap, no water in the room, a single tiny bar of soap, not a single extra towel, no in room refrigerator, no robe, nothing, nothing, nothing.

Really enjoy staying in Club Quarters hotels, second experience for my wife and I. Great location in downtown easy to get to everything we planned to do on vacation. Not the biggest room, but was perfect for what we needed during our time in San Francisco.

This is my 5th time staying there for work and each time it's convenient and easy. Will continue to stay on upcoming trips.

Convenient location in the financial district. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

This place is great. The rooms are the perfect size for a single or couple there to see the city. Hotel and rooms are very clean, nice layout, very convenient and its just 10 min (or less) walk to multiple forms of mass transit, including Muni and BART lines. It is close to the Wharf and the Piers. This is one of many trips I have taken to SFO and this was one of my best hotel experiences for under $225 a night.

I chose to stay here because it was convenient. For me it was important to be able to walk to the Exploratorium and Union Square. The hotel itself was expensive for what it is. The room was small for two people, it worked but a little crammy. The room was not clean either. There were dust on the furniture and stains on the mirror that was not cleaned off.

Convenient location if you need to be in the financial district, and the price is right. But you get what you pay for. Small, outdated rooms with no frills. But the staff is super friendly and helpful. If you just need a dark room with a bed for a very reasonable price, this is your place.

The rooms are not that big but they're equipped with all you need. Good price and close to everything.

This has become my go to hotel for my once a month travels to San Francisco. Hotel is clean, convenient to my office and quiet. I would definitely recommend to anyone traveling for work to stay there.

Hotel was a great location, about 7 mins from my office. The room was spacious enough and the rest of the hotel was very clean. The sheets were not the best quality but the bed itself and pillows were great. Definitely plan to stay on my future trips.

Had a wonderful experience during a holiday weekend. The staff is just amazing, Mai in particular went above and beyond to make us feel welcoming and accommodated our special request without hesitation. I only booked one night in advanced to "check it out" and after being treated with such hospitality there was no doubt I would be booking a second night the day off for the same great price. I look forward to staying here again during my visits to the city, true gem!

Clean, reasonable and a convenient location. Staff were all friendly and efficient. Our accommodations were clean and well appointed.

Club Quarters is a great place to stay. It's walking distance from the BART, the staff is very nice and helpful, the suite I stayed in was perfect my much needed weekend getaway. I will definitely stay at Club Quarters the next time I'm in the city.

It's not the most luxurious hotel but it's right in the financial district and close to everything. Good for the money, a little loud.
