Great location, easy to get to anywhere walking or by bus

Simple and Clean, close to everything! Will stay again!

I've stayed at many small and boutique motels in SF, and this is one of new my favorites. I was pleased with how quiet it was, but so well located to Presidio, Chestnut Street shops and frequent bus routes. No real street noise, which is a plus being so close to Lombard. Staff was great, and one of the most comfortable mattresses I've had outside of the Westin. Really surprised by that! Would be nice to have a vending machine, and and extra blanket. It was a bit cold and the heater is pretty loud for a light sleeper. First come, first serve parking isn't ideal is you need to come & go with car during busy season, but I didn't have any problems .Great value if not paying much more than $100.

The hotel itself was in a good location for our recent visit to SF and the room was spacious enough for our needs. The late night noise from the neighboring restaurant and the peculiar behavior from the hotel staff had a major influence on why we wouldn't have a return visit.

Parking is included with room. That in itself is great. Our family was there for an event for my daughter. We were able to walk to most places and take an über to fisherman's wharf. We enjoyed the marina close to the palace of the arts. Although we never took the bus while we were there the #30 goes right by the hotel. Traffic noise starts early around there. The room was small but clean. It served its purpose and would return again.

It is a small, family owned hotel. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The parking is very limited. But, everything was within walking distance. The rooms were nothing fancy. But, they were comfortable and clean. This hotel is just off the main road, so there isn't a lot of traffic noise at night.

Nice stay, easy access to all key points near the bay, museum, & other points.

Stayed two nights with my mom and boyfriend. Location was great. Room was clean and didn't smell. Everything in the room worked. It was also a pretty safe area. The bad things were of course parking. Had to find one on streets nearby. Our room was downstairs so you could hear the people walking around above us. The beds were pretty hard to sleep on. $3 to rent the fridge. Continental breakfast was coffee and pastries although we didn't try them. Very close to street so lots of noise but that didn't bother us. Overall, great experience.

Needed a quick cheap place to stay for two nights and this place fit in well with our plans due to the great location and price. Parking could be an issue if you don't have one of the six spaces located on premises. Overall, very satisfied

This motel was reasonable for San Francisco. One reason we chose it was parking availability. Parking was limited, as advertised, but VERY limited, so we used public transportation once we arrived. Everything about the motel was "adaquate", but just barely.

The room was spotless and cleaned everyday by noon. The motel was generally quiet. It's an easy walk to Peet's coffee and lots of good reataurants.

Normally, the rates for hotels in San Francisco are totally crazy. Does a family have $200 to blow on a hotel? Get real. So, this hotel came up in my search and seemed to have the "right price." It is very basic, has small rooms, and the breakfast is not thrilling. However, the rooms were acceptably clean, the staff acceptably friendly, and the location acceptably quiet. Plus, there were lots of Europeans staying at the hotel, so you could make some international friends if you like.

Not in the presidio district. No place to park but on the street if you are lucky. The place was so bad we decided not to stay.

Great location, good price and quiet!! I just think I was better off sleeping on the floor, they should invest on comfortable mattress's. Liked how the cleaning staff left an envelope for tips, as a reminder!! Overall, it was good but I won't stay there again.

The people at the front desk were very nice. It was always loud in the morning as the housekeeping staff was making a lot of noise and cleaning very early.

We just drove up from South Bay for a weekend class, and didn't want to make the 1 hour (+traffic) drive at night or in the next morning. This was a short drive to Fort Mason, and didn't get in our way. Checkin was fast, checkout was faster and the room had enough room to drop our stuff long enough to get some sleep. Parking was the only complaint, we had to walk maybe 5-6 minutes from street parking when we returned after 10pm, but the neighborhood seemed safe enough. Even at 6:00 when we arrived, street parking was all that was left because those 6 parking spots go quick.

I got brief yet very useful guidance from hotel owner. It save my time and energy. With their help, I got the shuttle bus just in time. Thanks for those caring arrangments

This place was great for several reasons. FREE PARKING!!Quiet. Location was close enough to fisherman's wharf, but far enough not too get a lot of traffic. Also, it's close to a main road, but just off of it where few cars drive by and its mainly quiet. The room was extremely clean and everything worked. They charge $3 for use of a small fidge though. But at least its there right! nice looking shower and good sized bathroom. Also, the sink is outside of the bathroom so even while someone's in there, other people can use the sink. Bed was good. Overall, i really liked this hotel. I don't look for a million amenities though so if you are looking for them. i dont think this will help you too much.

The location was fantastic. We walked to the Presidio and were amazed at it's size and beauty. Public transportation was nearby and we were able to take just one bus to fisherman's wharf. The next day, we took the same bus to the Giant's game. The room was small and efficient. The bathroom was spacious and had lots of counter space. The only flaw was that the beds had plastic mattress covers. We found these noisy and sweaty.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helped us get to know the place betterthey had complimentary local maps that had ample and useful information regarding places of visit,to shop and to dine. The rates were wonderful for the location of the hotel and it was a very quiet place to retire inspite of a pub situated opposite the hotel. As a whole the stay and the trip were very memorable. Thank you orbitz for helping us with the offer.
