Free parking is great with the downtown location. Others charge $50 or more.

I loved the parking on site and the location in proximity to down town. The Restaurant and bar were wonderful. The staff were outstanding. The retro vibe was fun! It is located in the Tenderloin which is very sketchy at best. We will stay here again!!!

LOVE this hotel! We travel A LOT. We can do 5 star or adventure travel—-and everything in between. Will definitely be back. The staff is superb. Genuine and truly want to help. Love the hotel’s style and its celebrated kitsch and history. Refreshing. Fun. Really adds to the SFO travel experience. One issue, and I don’t know if it was just our room, but my guess is that it is all rooms. Please, please replace the bath fans. Unbearably noisy. $60 from Home Depot. Super silent fans. An hour of labor. Done! Any trips to bathroom in the middle of the night woke up the entire family. A 10-minute shower was not enjoyable——couldn’t wait to get out. This quick fix will make a huge difference. Regardless, we will definitely be back. Thanks for a great time!

Hotel is clean, staff is friendly , free parking and a beautiful, clean heated pool. If you're looking for a hotel in the tenderloin district this is the place to go. Theres a restaurant on property with great ratings and good food.

Wonderful little Oasis in the middle of "The Tenderloin" and FREE parking! This is where we stay when we visit San Francisco. It's only about $11 for a cab ride to the Giant's game. The area is alive with people it's fun to people watch. Don't be worried about the area it is just fine. Enjoy!

The area isn’t the best but it is still fine. Free parking is a huge amazing perk! Clean rooms, new vibe but old hotel. Can be very loud if people outside at bar/pool to sleep. Staff is super nice.

The hotel is updated and the restaurant attached is really cool. The patio for the restaurant is by the pool; I wish I knew the patio was open until midnight - it was too noisy to sleep. I suggest using the earplugs they provide (in the nightstand) if you go to sleep before midnight. The staff was fantastic and very accommodating, I would stay here again.

The DJ was spinning all possible genres and it SO worked. There was dancing where there was supposed to be no dancing.

Had a great time. Awesome cool and hip. That said, do not expect peace and quiet. This is the place you go to party like a rockstar without having to leave the grounds. The pool is happening, the bar is happening, yet it is still family friendly (unless your Mike Pence, in which case - not so much). We will return!

Orlando and Andrea at check in where vary courteous and helpful, check in was a breeze and the parking was free. NICE JOB!

The staff is lovely and the rooms are large. First floor near the pool gets loud but they make an effort to control noise when it gets late. I was able to walk everywhere during the day, but I wouldn't walk around there at night. I would consider this place on my next trip.

Very nice staff and rooms were clean. Only thing is that the hotel is stated as being in civic center but it's actually more in the tenderloin district. It's fine to walk during the day but I wouldn't walk alone at night.

This hotel has free parking and a pool the area around the pool has a lot of room to walk around , the surrounding buildings provide a sound barrier that dampers sf traffic noise the hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful in comparison to other corporate hotels I will stay at this hotel again.

This used to be an older motel with a pool in the middle. Now it's been renovated and they've added a bar, a restaurant, decorated the rooms in a kind of retro funky way. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is a bit weak: coffee and croissants basically. And I wish they had a hot tub in addition to the pool: that would make it perfect. Still, it's very good, and highly recommended for a rate around $200/night or so.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is close everywhere . We like it!

perfect location. front desk very helpful. room is retro and up to date. free parking is a huge bonus.

Free parking. Rooms pretty comfortable, younger crowd atmosphere. Cool bars around the hood, right in the middle of city. Homeless people around, but they don't bother you, some really appreciate any kindness.

Without doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and general manager, our names were mentioned on the board and we were upgraded. The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant very flexible (appreciate this!) We had great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience.
