Older facility in a very noisy, somewhat sketchy neighborhood.. Room was clean and comfortable. For one night, was fine.
Helpful staff in historic hotel.
This was an older property that was very nice at one point but seemed a bit run down now. The staff was nice and helpful when we needed it, and we appreciated being able to store our luggage after checking out as we had a later flight home. The neighborhood was not very nice. We would be unlikely to stay there again in the future.
Nice building, clean rooms, breakfast, happy hour!!
The hotel was old world charming and clean. The room was very nice. The neighborhood was sketchy late at night and very noisy.
The room and common area were very clean and well-kept. Only one room in our window opened and even though it was only in the 60s outside, it was very warm in our room all night. We had to keep the window open and the neighborhood is very loud - lots of sirens and other noises
Great
The location is convenient and the staff was helpful
Friendly staff. We liked the wine and cheese served in the afternoon while we were in the lobby waiting for our ride. We also got a complimentary room upgrade when we checked in!
Price was affordable. Room was small but clean. Old building. Very little staff
Very loud hear people screaming outside around 1am loud music coming from outside. Area does not feel safe.
Nice
The place is a little quirky but, very nice. The staff was great. Location is good. Do a little homework and don't go into one of the neighborhoods nearby. Wine and chhes3 in the afternoon and some breakfast items in the morning. Would go back.
My friends and myself went to a concert and decided we'd stay the night. Beresford was a great option and affordable too. We got the Jr suite. Everything was great except the jacuzzi tub. I was looking forward to relaxing in it but it did not work. It would've been good to know in advance but I noticed it the day we were leaving. Other than that everything was satisfactory.
I stay here with a colleague for an event at beginning of May. Very cool place! Room very large and clean bathroom clean, big and well equipped. No noise at all! I surely come here next time in SF!
