I HAD TO PAY THE HOTEL $30.- for parking my car overnight. The rooms look NOTHING LIKE the pictures, there was NO mention that the elevator was not working in the property. Poor room conditions, there was NO breakfast… a couple of activia yogurts. Cheerios and NO milk, bread and butter. Very disappointing that Expedia doesn’t check out the hotel before renting it out.

First off the elevator is still not working as of mid October 2025 so expect to walk up their very narrow steep steps up to your floor. The hot water took 10+ mins to become warm every time i tried to take a shower… they don’t let food delivery go up so you have to walk up and down said raggedy steps every time you get food delivered if you do so… air conditioning unit isn’t very efficient but gets the job done. Area is rough but that’s out of their control.

Room was small. Got what I paid for. I chose this space for the parking and the lot was “full” when I arrived. I was told the 6th and Folsom paid parking lot was available but it was blocked due to construction zone. Found this out late and SF street parking is nightmare around there. Parked in yellow until 7am. Better communication and alternate parking options would’ve been appreciated

The elevator was broken and we needed to use the stairs, which were dangerously narrow and curved. When we arrived a “friend” of the staff was working the front desk, but he was clearly there to hang out with his case of beer. I felt uncomfortable giving him my credit card and car keys for the parking.

Booked this hotel for a quick over night and because it had parking in the photo. Got there to find out the parking was limited and we had to find a place to park on the street. The closest parking was 3 blocks away and the area was extremely sketchy. Wasn’t about to walk those 3 blocks at night. Canceled the room and went else where. Still waiting to see if we can get a refund or not on that room but it wasn’t worth walking the streets for that.

Loved staying here. The front desk guy was very nice and helped with everything! Parking so convenient and easy! Location was great too, it felt safe and wasn’t ghetto at all. Room was perfect for my husband and I and my best friend! Will be staying here from now on.

AC unit worked great. If the hotel told me they were under renovations. I probably would t have stayed. At 6 AM they were drilling and there was paint and other construction materials all over the place. Also, the stairs they just put in at not the correct height. Which makes you trip and fall.

Nice staff but the hotel needed a bit of upkeep and small things that could be improved- such as upholstery cleaning, etc. It was quite loud from above- thin walls. All and all it was what I expected in the heart of the city from a smaller hotel.

I really enjoyed the artwork inside the hotel. However, one important detail that should be mentioned on Expedia and the hotel’s website is that parking is very limited—even for guests with prior reservations. Additionally, the bathroom towels were dirty and had rips, which was disappointing. On a positive note, the exterior of the hotel was clean, and I didn’t notice anything that felt sketchy or unsafe.
