two complaints, one is not really the hotel's fault but should be noted, every day at 6:00 am there is a delivery or taking out the trash in those big steel dumpsters, rolling down the street. I was on the 6th floor and I could hear it like it was just outside my room. If you are a light sleeper, don't stay here. The other thing is the wifi, it just sucks. It kept dropping and losing my connection.

hotel was nice not far from union square bit noisy as some air comes in near the air con unit .. only one lift so can wait long times sometimes.ok hotel had better experiences in the past ..not sure i ll be back breakfast was a joke had more choice at motels ... can understand they had to find a last minute solution due to the restaurant next door not doing breakfast.anymore . But a coffe a juice and a muffin or toast that's all that was included in the voucher to use in cafe across the street that was a joke.. to get a real brealfast had to pay for anything else..so paid twice for my breakfast .. again had.more choices at hotel way lower quality than this supposed to be 3 star. that's why i gave s 3 star to my review

This was a very nice hotel. Great price and nice location. Walking distance to Union Square shops. Lots of local eateries nearby. Room was comfortable and clean. Staff was very friendly and responsive. Fitness room was a bonus. We enjoyed the nightly wine hour. Would definitely stay there again.

Wine reception is popular, staff is friendly. Many international guests. Rooms are generally a reasonable size.

We enjoyed our stay there. The housekeeping staff was amazing! We had fresh sheets on our beds every day. Facility was a bit older, and we could hear water running in the other rooms, due to older plumbing. Wasn't a big deal, as the staff and cleanliness made up for it. We loved the location of the hotel, as it was in walking distance to Union Square, shops, and restaurants.

It was a pleasant stay. Love the hotel, staff and how it's close to everything.

Overall my stay was fine. Room was small and bathroom felt like it was converted from a closet to a bathroom. The bed was nice enough and the pillows were comfy. My view looked into two other rooms so I kept the blinds closed at all times. If you aren't planning to spend much time in the room then it's fine.

We spend less then 24 hours on this hotel and anytime we have a question the answer was there for us. Very attentive and welcoming stuff with the right information of how to make the best of your stay in San Francisco.

Close to union square and China town . Walkable to shopping and night life .

I was traveling on business and this hotel was one of the more affordable options within walking distance of meetings. For the location, the price was very good, the room was small but comfortable, clean, relatively quiet, and the internet was good. They are not serving breakfast at this time (but seem to be reconstructing a restaurant), but I enjoyed (and prefer in any case) trying out different options nearby. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The lobby is small, but comfortable (and has a welcoming fireplace). I had looked all around the same area for a less expensive option and the only ones seemed to have bed bug problems or be quite a step down... so I am glad to have spent the extra money to book this hotel.

Front desk staff is rude and unfriendly. Concierge staff is very professional and attentive though. The location is soso which required quite a bit of walking to the nearest BART station.

I booked 4 rooms here for a business trip and the hotel was not as bad as I thought it would be. Staff was friendly, complementary wine happy hour and lobby was nice. Rooms were ok, beds were comfortable. My biggest complaint would be the dust build up on all of surfaces in the rooms. It looked as if house cleaning never wiped those down ever. We also had a plumbing issue in one room, but they were able to fix it immediately so I won't complain. Advice to hotel - dust the rooms!!!

A warm reception from the hotel staff on a cold day in SF. Room was lovely and comfortable.

I enjoyed my one night stay. The room was in pretty good condition and the ambiance of this themed Hotel was refreshing.

Nice room in a great location! Bathroom and beds were nice and clean.

The location is very close to China Town and the shopping center. The facility is little bit old and the room is small.

Checked in after midnight. Front desk was accomodating. Unfortunately, your hotel had a bad smell permeating all floors and guest room. Tried spraying febreeze and only gave myself a headache. Shower was awkward size to navigate. Also, did not realize the restaurant was going through renovations until on site. You should let this be known on your website. The bell hop on check out day was awesome. Thursday, dec. 1. He made me a pot of coffee after the 10am cut off. He arranged a shuttle last minute...although I had called the front desk the night before and thought it was all taken care of...it wasn't !...was very helpful. But, unfortunately, you need to do something about the smell. Maybe it's your cleaning products or it could be damp mustiness. Respectfully Sarah Petermann

Hotel Vintage Court was very nice. Rooms are real small. And as always parking valet expensive. Hotel staff was very nice.

Great location, small rooms and somewhat dated; stayed 1 night on Nov 3 2016. But room was comfortable, wifi worked and enough power ports. Bathroom is tiny (toilet/shower) and sink in bedroom area. Nice wine tasting hour in the evening. Front desk/Check in person was harried and unhelpful at check in but was helpful later in the evening when it was calmer.

Great hotel at a great price. For being an older hotel it's been remodeled and quite nice. I knew not to expect too many modern amenities with it being so old but was pleasantly surprised. We arrived far too early to check in but they were able to hold our luggage while we toured the city for 8 hours. It was in a nice safe area yet It was only a few blocks walking distance to union square. I would definitely stay here again on future visits to the city

Thank you for your great feedback. Appears your visit to San Francisco was great based on our location and services. And appears your room meets your needs too. Yes, our baths are a bit snug as the hotel was built in 1913 for the opening of the Panama Canal. Yet modernized and clean with update completed just a year ago. Lastly, when time allows please post your positive comments on Trip Advisor! Best regards, Bill Engelhardt - General Manager

Dear YT: Sorry for the inconsistency with our reception staff unlike our bellman / doorman. Our hotel team is however always happy to help yet somehow a disconnect here with the information you were needing. Lastly, as you found our location good, I hope you enjoyed your visit to San Francisco! Sincerely, Bill Engelhardt General Manager
