The property is unmanned so you have to walk down the street to check in. Also the phone in the room was not working so I wasn't able to call for questions etc.
Easy location from Bart and everything else
Amazingly convenient location. Super close to public transport, right next to a Walgreens that you can buy anything you need from, and right in the middle of downtown. Love that you need a keycard to access the building, it makes it feel more secure. Downsides were that there was essentially no staff/front receptionists to ask questions to and that some of the towels and comforter were stained.
Overall I really enjoyed my stay here. It was quiet and clean and although I was skeptical at first about the “shared bathrooms” they were clean and well cared for daily. I will stay here again because of the value and location. Bed was plush also. Maybe more towels in room at check in would be a suggestion I would make
Location and the staff are great, but there was no bathroom or shower in the room. These rooms were down the hall. I unexpected this, and I was disappointed initially, however, I got over it and by the second day I was used to it.
The staff was very helpful in accommodating my needs.
The location is super convenient. There is even a laundry facility, microwave, coffee machine, dinner table on the second floor (206), which I did get to use for my 7-day stay at this hotel. My room has a private bathroom and it is quite spacious. The bed is extremely comfortable. I slept +12 hours for my very first night to help with my jetlag. I will recommend this hotel to travelers going to attend meetings at a nearby area (e.g. Moscone center). One downside about it is there is no luggage check. You pay $2 per luggage at a nearby sister hotel. The hot water isn't hot enough.
Its a former rooming house with a few residents still there so there were some funky smells in the halls. Furniture was a bit cheap and spartan. no real way to control heat, and I did not need it but apparently to AC. S
Hallway smelled of urine, room furniture cheap and spartan, no handle on faucet, no real way to regulate room temperature, cheap bright lights, refrigerator leaked.
Convenient location. Perfect to go anywhere in a short time
Liked old school traditional . Missed on site parking & No dinning on site . Better shower head . (( When I return I will look here first ! )) Staff IS AWESOME !!!!!!
