Check in took no time and the host was helpful in arranging a larger room so we had space for a cot. She also told us about free wine on the roof deck! House keeping was very quick to provide us with our extra requests. Only complaint was that we didn't have (or couldn't find) a thermostat for our room, but we had doors we could open to make it less stuffy. Valet also had our car right out front for our early check out time!

Very clean rooms and environment, friendly staff. Enjoyed the free breakfast. The only con is the towels are old and need to be replaced. But overall, excellent and will use again

It was good exprience to stay here. I stayed here for 4 nights and rooms were always clean. It was close to every places we wanted to visit.

Walking-friendly to and from public transportation. Friendly desk staff and breakfast team. Good value for Civic Center stay.

Sinks in 2 rooms plugged up, iron broken, painful towels

Although it's in the Tenderloin, the location isn't too bad--just don't walk around at night. Parking here was great ($30/day valet with in and out privileges.) The fact that it's always monitored with cameras and it's connected to the hotel are definitely a plus. You're just a few minutes drive from all the tourist spots in SF. They even have shuttles that will take you to Fisherman's Wharf, Union Square, and Japan town. No central AC or heater, but the hotel will provide you with small appliances to maintain a decent climate. Luckily it was pretty cold and the small heater worked fine. Breakfast was very very very basic--just check it out once but even if you don't go you're not missing much: scrambled eggs, croissants, some fruit, ham, and a waffle maker.

Cova hotel is a very nicely done boutique style hotel. They serve a great free breakfast during your stay, have wifi and a shuttle that you can pre-arrange to go to the major tourist attractions. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful, and will make sure you have an easy stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The only positive thing is that breakfast and Wi-Fi were included in our stay.

Staff was friendly and easy to get talk to. The room was nice and clean when we arrived. You have to pay for overnight parking because they don't have much parking space but collaborate with the garage next to it. They also have a shuttle that you can use to get to certain areas of San Francisco but you have to tell them 30 minutes ahead of time.

This isn't a swanky hotel, but it isn't a Motel 6 either. There is no central air, which I didn't mind and the rooms are relatively well kept. I would not mind staying there again, if it weren't for the awful neighborhood where this is located. Do NOT stay here if you're looking to walk around alone at night or you're a young woman visiting the city alone. The Tenderloin is not a safe area, and this hotel is smack dab in the worst part.

The hotel itself seems ok, however the location is very creepy and not safe. The breakfast was also ok, except for not too many options. However, the kitchen staff were very polite and nice. As for the room, it was cleaned every day, but it had some smell. Wifi was also very slow. I think that the price is too high.

Nice location for nightlife! Not bad for the price, but unspoken parking cost is very pricey!

Great staff, room, everything! I enjoyed the free drinks and snacks, room was very very clean. Neighborhood is a little scary but not to worry.

For the price, it was not bad at all since its very close distance to everything. It made our trip to SF more memorable since we avoided driving and preferred walking and exploring the city by foot.

The hotel itself is not too terrible and surely worth the money. HOWEVER, as everyone has already mentioned, the location is the absolute worst. This hotel is located in the center of the worst part of town, the tenderloin.

The hotel is new and clean. Beds are very comfortable, and the bathroom is very spacious. Given its central location near downtown, the quality of services and the amount of space in the room, you can't find a better deal in downtown area of san francisco. Not to mention, the free breakfast is way above average hotel free breakfast, even though its continental

NO WHERE IN THE RESERVATION WAS THERE ANY NOTE SAYING WE HAD TO PAY SEPERATELY FOR PARKING!! CHARGING FOR PARKING...AT A HOTEL THAT DOES NOT OWN THEIR PARKING STRUCTURE, REALLY? NO VIEW NO POOL NO NICE NEIGHBORHOOD LONG WAIT FOR A LIMITED SELECTION BREAKFAST COLD COFFEE OLD FRUIT THE ONLY NICE PEOPLE IN THE ENTIRE HOTEL EXPERIENCE WERE THE LADIES PICKING UP DIRTY PLATES AND CLEANING TABLES.

Room was comfortable (nice bedding!) and staff was very friendly and helpful. My kids really liked the funky sink in the bathroom. Above average free hotel breakfast. Main downside was that the neighborhood seemed a bit sketchy at night, and the hotel was farther from BART than I anticipated.

Really good. hotel. Staff was awesome. Comfortable stay.

The hotel itself is really good except it's just located in a not so desirable location. However, they have a excellent shuttle bus system so it's safe and easy to get around SF. And the breakfast is amazing. The room is nice and clean too.
