Great hotel! Small rooms and small bathroom not to much space

This is my favorite Hotel in San Fran so hard to say anything bad BUT last time I was there I used the pool and the stairs into the pool are still slippery. Not sure why there isn't any anti slip traction on the ladders.

Love palace . Stayed many times . I will return again . Wish I could live here

Low rating because the hotel doesn't pay a living wage to its employees. There was a strike and I would have never stayed there should I've known this

Palace is my absolute favorite place in San Francisco . And I’ve lived here for 30 plus years . I think you should let me live here ? That would be an incredible gesture and possible ? Proving giant cooperations REALLY CARE . Thank you I’ll be back

Nice location between Market and Mission! Outstanding customer service at the Palace.

They over booked and we did not get a room, try finding a room in San Francisco late on a Thursday night! Awful expierence

I loved the Palace. I usually always stay in union square. This location is so much nicer! Walk to the moma and have brunch at the grove. The hotel itself is amazing and so clean. Best place I’ve stayed in SF. They have free coffee and the rooms are nice, clean and spacious. Also walking distance to Target!

Room was smaller but we didn't need anything big since we spent little time there. Room was beautiful and staff Was courteous. I just wish the hotel was a little closer to the everything.

I was not advised that my room was for handicapped guests at the check in time. Since I am not handicapped I found the use of the bathroom very uncomfortable, especially when it came to operating the shower. I wish I would’ve been given the courtesy of been informed before I decided to pay hundreds of dollars for a room. My overall experience was disappointing.

The room was amazing. It was a beautiful corner suite over looking the corner of Market. We watched the Chinese New Year parade from our windows! The staff were all friendly and very nice. Thank you Sara and a very special thanks to Jamie E. It truly was one of the most wonderful stays in San Francisco ever! That said I just can't see staying any where else. We will be back.

Took 15 for valet upon arrival and 30 mins to receive luggage.

Went for one night had a great stay. Hotel is very nice. Staff was very friendly and had a room ready for us when we arrived early.

The room was in great condition and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The bathroom amenities were great and the heated toilet seat was much appreciated ;). The lobby/eating area is beautiful, but we did not spend much time actually in the hotel to admire it. Front desk staff and concierge were very helpful. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and were disappointed to only be here for 1 night. But even for 24h in San Francisco, this hotel seemed to be in a good location for us to reach most of the thing we wanted to visit.

Beautiful hotel, rooms were large, comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. Staff nice. Valet is a little slow so call 30 minutes before going down.

The hotel is very beautiful. The room was large and adequate. Only negative was that you can hear people in hallway and the adjoining room you heard murmur of the tv. Didn't eat at restaurant but it always was crowded. There were lots of functions going on and lots of people come in off streets to view lobby

As you enter, ThebPalace hotel seems to transport you back in time. It is absolutely stunning. Staff were extremely friendly offering my daughter and her friends some chocolate goodies upon our arrival, they spotted that we were there to celebrate a birthday. We got two rooms and both were very clean, large for SF, with beautiful decor. 10 minute walk to union sq, ferry building, north beach. Would definitely recommend.

I loved this grand hotel . They have done a great job updating the spaces with a mix of contemporary and classic design . The room was nice but way too trendy for my tastes . The bathroom is just ok and squeezed into the original footprint . The vent in the door allows no privacy . I was not impressed with either bar area . Overall this is a good pick for location and old world glamour. The staff was very nice and accommodating.

Great experience. Meals were expensive, but the dining areas were beautiful. We opted not to eat there more than twice
