The Palace was a wonderful place to stay for a few nights in San Francisco. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the staff were very accommodating. The indoor pool and hot tub, gym, and really delicious breakfast buffet in the morning were great additions to the experience. Housekeeping, especially, did an amazing job. I was very impressed by how clean and organized my room was left everyday in a timely manner.

The staff was very friendly and greated us every time we walked up to the door. The hotel had an awesome early 1900s entry and dome. Overall it was a great experience.

Loved the location, staff, and room. The only reason I wouldn't give 5 on room rating is that there is no place to put your clothes, you must live out of your suitcase, literally.

I booked a double queen bed but the hotel only had a king bed available when I checked in.

Arrived too early to check in but was still given a great room hours before check-in. Had a wonderful, perfect stay.

Normally I stay at the fairmont sf but decided to try another hotel. So glad I did! The fairmont is beautiful but the palace is as well and a much better location in my opinion. Wonderful staff, very good coffee and tea in the morning complimentary, but I had the best experience with housekeeping! I always leave a tip on the pillow and for the first time I received a thank you note from the housekeeper! I'm not sure why other hotels don't have their staff do the same because it really touched me, so this is my new go to hotel in sf!

Brought my wife and kids there and had a great experience. The breakfast buffet was the best!

This hotel was amazing, the service was seriously superb!!! You do get what you pay for in service level! The room was beautiful with high ceilings, heated toilets, rainfall shower, the most comfortable bed ever, and decent views. The only downside to this hotel is the parking situation. When I called they said the only option was ballet which was $60 a night... Also there is no way to get to valet from the street If a car is waiting. We waited 10 min to get to the valet curb. Other than that it was amazing! They even have chargers in the room for your cell phone.

Christmas Eve was an amazing time at the Palace! Amazing staff and wonderful experiences.

I love the setting of a palace and it is truly a destination in such a destination like SF

This hotel is in downtown, it's crowd. They don't have self-parking lots, the valet parking cost $60 !!!! The palace hall is crowd, not good for a family who need peaceful stay. This hotel is not for visitors who ride on car, maybe it's good for the visitors on foot.

Friendly staff. China at concierge was awesome. I will go back just for her help. She went above and beyond to assist us. I love this hotel and will surely recommend this to my family and friends.

The hotel was magnificent. The atrium is just beautiful. But even better...the beds are so comfortable and the linens were new and luxurious. We will go back again!

Stayed here while attending a conference held nearby. The hotel room was spacious and nicely renovated. The hotel was within walking distance to the Ferry Plaza Farmer's Market and Chinatown.

Modern renovated rooms with high ceilings. Great drinks in lobby bar. Perfect location.

This is by far the best hotel to stay in the city- convenient to museums and restaurants, great access to tourist spots and shopping.

Tub wouldn't drain, room was hot and cramped, they charge for wifi as a general policy (Starwood gets free, but at $400+ a night come on). There are so many nicer options in the same area and price range that it doesn't make sense to deal with it. The staff was great other than the restaurant hostess.

I love this hotel more than anyone else i booked from Orbitz! The service is over my expectation! Royal Resorts! I will take my family members be there next time!

The staff was great and I felt appreciated for staying here. I was never made to feel I needed to tip but whatever the amount I tipped was valued as if it was $100 if only $5 was given.

Our stay at the Palace Hotel was perfect. We were greeted with a warm welcome from staff and this continued throughout our stay till the very last moment. Doormen, front desk, bellhop, and concierge staff were phenomenal. The hotel is gorgeous and is in a great location for visiting San Francisco. We walked to almost all our destinations and took a cab a few times. We would most definitely stay at this hotel again and highly recommend it.
