The entrance to our room was near an alley with lots of homeless
Too many rude people upstairs People outside cussing all night
Perfect hotel within walking distance to Oracle Park
The only thing that I liked about this motel is that it was within walking distance to Oracle Park. The motel is located near the freeway in the middle of an industrial area. We arrived at check in and we were able to find parking. Staff was very friendly. We were able to walk to and from the game with minimal problems. There were a lot of homeless people close to the freeway underpass and it smelled like urine all around but they pretty much kept to themselves. The room itself was terrible as there was an indentation in the mattress which made it difficult to sleep. The refrigerator froze all of our food and drinks. There were dead bugs near the corner of the carpet. We were woken up in the middle of the night by what sounded like a street sweeper which was very loud. In the morning, there were lots of construction workers talking loudly near our street and it was very noisy with traffic. I would not recommend this property but if you just need a quick place to crash and don’t care about loud noises, then this is your place.
I cancel my reservation because my meeting was postponed to next month. So my money is not refunded to me that I feel very bad.
Towels are thinner than cheesecloth. Staff was uninterested in the satisfaction of the guest.
Great location. Free parking is a plus. About a 20 minute walk to the AT&T park.
Arrived at night, they required $250 security deposit, even though we prepaid for the rooms. Shower wasn't great. You can hear the traffic all day and all night. Drunk people yell and scream often. No breakfast, the closest reasonable breakfast place is about a 15 min walk. San Francisco is expensive, this was mid-range but lacks class.
We choose this hotel due to the proximity to the Giants stadium, within walking distance. The staff was super friendly and helpful when giving directions and tourist advice. The place was small, but very clean, and since the only time we spent was to sleep, it was the perfect place for us.
Always enjoy staying here. Great location and room includes a mini-fridge and microwave as well as a Satellite TV. Always clean.
New Management. Nicely renovated. Awesome location. One of those retro motels from the mid 19th century... But done up nice... Good TV, good wifi, I am a repeat customer.
The voucher says Check-in ends at 2AM. Fortunately, after a severely delayed flight, we got to the hotel at 1:45 AM. We checked in, and asked for a 1-day extension, but the attendant on duty said he was unable to do that. The room was fine - a little unkempt in the bathroom - and I might have given this hotel a higher rating. BUT then found out there was no internet. Sure enough by 2AM no one was in the office. So no internet until some time the next day.
Ricky at the front desk was especially nice and the room was really clean. There is clear value for money here. I would certainly recommend staying there if you are in the SOMA area.
Great stay for the price. Enjoyed the room and staff
My wife was nervous when I told her I booked a "bargain" motel for our trip to San Francisco, her being a big time clean freak. She was astounded at how clean the room was, rating it a 10! We were happy with the location, as it is in walking distance of both Union Square and AT&T Park. And the staff were super nice. I have to say, it is the smallest motel room I have ever been in. But considering how little we were in the room we could live with it. And unfortunately not all of the electrical outlets worked. But our biggest complaint was the parking. It is free (hard to find in San Francisco) but is extremely limited. One night we returned to the room late and there was no parking available, resulting in us having to park on the street. That was not ideal.
Bay bridge is not a fancy motel but its a good value for money. It's very clean and has a coffee machine but no breakfast or laundry service. it is not located in the center but is not very far. I went for business and it met my expectations.
