There was construction; so your GPS won't get you there. So we went to the airport to return the car early instead and then took the hotel shuttle. It was a long wait for the shuttle and the evening driver was a bit rude. The morning driver was excellent though. The hotel is quite dated. The room appears clean.
Wanted to stay at a convenient place near the airport. Crowne Plaza made it easy with a smooth checkin, clean room and quality amenities.
The room is old like back to the 90's. Very similar to hotel 6 or so. The heater keeps making horrible noise at night because it is so old. The staff is very unfriendly. No one smiles. The front rushed you when you want to know the directions. The concierge person ignored you when you asked for help, belittlling other companies services. Very unprofessional to say the least.
Nice experience except some trouble getting there due to construction
Nice hotel by the SF airport. Room was both really nice and clean with a bunch of complimentary toiletries that arent customary at hotels. The hotel as a whole was very clean, especially with construction going on at the time. Had a nice gym with a good amount of equipment. Indoor pool and hot tub area didnt look the best but granted I didnt use it. Hotel staff was both friendly and helpful and allowed me to check in over 4 hours early. Recommended.
Walking distance to bay and to Burlingame town center. Large, clean rooms, reliable shuttle to airport.
All around great for the money.Location is perfect for me.
Staff was extremely friendly. The front desk was helpful to navigate our transportation to and from San Francisco.
Location and front desk staff are great. Perfect if you're not looking for anything fancy and if you're on a budget.
The room was really small. It had your basic accommodations. It was nice to be close to the bart station. They do charge 20 too park. If you plan to go down to San Fran on Bart that will cost you 18.00 for a party of 3. They do have a restaurant inside but we didn't eat there. The house keepers were very friendly, but the man in the snack shop was rude. He had his headphones on and when we ask him a few questions he acted like we were bothering him. The front desk staff was nice and reccomed a few things for us.
Needs major overhaul to meet current traveler standards. Waaaayyyyy outdated.
Airport shuttle was a great service. Centrally located for all of our travel needs. Hotel breakfast buffet was good and reasonably priced.
very very clean, comfortable and convenient. the staff is very friendly. i like their smile. a good option for business trip. shuttle bus.......
There are certain factors out of the hotel's control such as location and area construction. The hotel's location is right off the freeway which makes the ongoing traffic noise a nuisance. You would think they would try and make up for this by having comfortable accommodations but such was not the case. We stayed in a double room, the beds were small and uncomfortable and the bedding was subpar. Even less appealing was the $20 daily parking fee for hotel guests. Although we were trying to save money and stay at a more affordable hotel, it was not worth risking a few good nights of sleep!
Gross. Not worth 200. I could have drove 15mins and had a much better sleep.
Nice. Close to the airport. Everything was clean and up to standard.
I book hotel in a month advance, with 3 peoples 2 adults and a 9 years old kid. At time I checking in, I'm is the last one according to the hotel staff. They give us in the small room with King bed for 3 people. I requested changed room they said all room are sold out. They will put additional bed for us, but all the furniture put in the corner and the bed barely make in the little spot, and no more room to walk to window or using the table desk. They did change us to new room next day. On the check out date vallet parking terrible. We are standing outside waiting 15 minutes but no attendants out sides. I went in the front desk complaint and find out they're all in side hotel talking and playing. I' m not a racist but almost the whole hotel staff are Philippines people and one and only one manager guy are white.
There was some digging going on on the highway through the night. I requested for a room on the other side. It was denied. Had a sleepless night. Bad overall
If you don't need any sleep, this hotel is for you. A/C units are old in the wall units and not maintained well. Mine motored on and off and made strange noises all night long. The maids start as early as they can cleaning and vacuuming the room next to, across from, and above and below you. You WILL wake up, as the soundproofing in these small rooms is not good. In the bathroom, ceramic on sink counter as well as tub/ shower, has gouges out of them which were shoddily repaired with some kind of caulkin putty. The grout and tile have seen better days, probably in the 90's. Ask to not be put in a room above the garage entrance, as there are neon lights that shine in through the edges of the plastic, fireproof curtains on the usual sliding glide rail with accompanying plastic pull wands. Tacky, yes. But you'll love them for the way they never really block the light from coming in around the edges and where you TRY to close them but can't. Really, any of the like of the Holiday Inn Express or La Quinta Motels are better than this.
Was in town on business and needed a room that was close to the airport, inexpensive but not "cheap". My room was clean, comfortable and just what I wanted. The attached restaurant has great food, service and atmosphere.
