This hotel is located in the heart of Berkeley. The room was big enough, clean and nicely decorated. The best part of this hotel is the restaurant. We had a great breakfast in a tastefully decorated environment. I will definitely recommend this place.
Wonderful staff! Very friendly and helpful. We requested an early check-in and the staff accommodated us beautifully. Nice attention to small details which add up to a very nice experience. They served cookies and milk in the late afternoon. There was always a basket of apples. The breakfast items ...
Hotel was ok. Fly to Oakland for a Raiders game. Hotel is about 30 minutes from the airport WITHOUT traffic. Hotel was clean and nice. Breakfast was great. Buffet style with an omelet maker. I would book again.
I had a event in Oakland,ca I stayed here the night before to avoid the long traffic commute. Front desk girl was polite but if no one was checking in then she was outside hanging out with security so wasn't able to answer my front desk call. Very close to lake Merritt which is a huge plus, keeps ...
We travel to the Bay Area a couple of times each year to see family; this was our first time at this hotel, and it was my favorite room that we've stayed at in the Bay Area due to quality, value, and location.

Had a overnight stay for takinga flight from SFO. Everything was ok in Hotel, ok breakfast options. But missed the flight due to freeway closure and defeated the purpose of staying close to airport (not the hotel's issue :)
Moderately prced but still walking distance to campus. Wish our room would have come with a refridgerator or if the staff would have offered a room with one upon my bringing it up to them. They instead had me give them my items to refridgerate which was ok i guess
Very nice, well-maintained hotel with friendly staff that is eager to help. We came for a concert at the Oracle arena and chose this hotel for its location. Very happy with the free airport shuttle (driver was super friendly) and food options at the hotel as outside restaurants are all some distance away. The room was basic, the bathroom was clean, and the mattress extremely comfortable. Overall very happy with our stay; would stay here again if we were in the area.
Yes it is clear this is an older motel but new paint new tile and most of all VERY CLEAN! Also the staff is very helpful. They want out of there way to help us. Class Act. $25 uber to SF. Why pay more over in SF????? Good Chinese restaurant walking distance.
