I stayed here for a concert at the Freight and Salvage, which is just two blocks away. I got upgraded to a nice suite, great view of the city. Very comfortable bed. Nice separate sitting area, two tvs. The hotel is a bit of a maze, I was towards the back. Not a big deal once I got used to it. Also ate breakfast at hotel restaurant, very fast service and good food.

Very spacious and clean room but it would be nice if it has a mini fridge. Five, the restaurant, serves good food. There's no parking available so you'll have to park in the pay public parking garage down the street.

Right next to the downtown berkeley bart station and only a couple minute walk to campus. Easy to get across the bay. Lots of little shops and restaurants around. The room is kind of small but the bed was comfortable. Okay pillows. Very nice towels. Good water pressure for the shower. Air conditioner worked well and was not very loud. Staff was friendly and smart. Overall a solid stay.

Fantastic staff! Clean rooms. Super convenient location. Definitely would recommend to a friend, and will come back to dig in at the bar and restaurant!

Short walk to BART station and stores. Modern hotel with friendly staff. Heater was a little loud and my had a poor view looking out of window. However, it's practical for business or short stays.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay my kids loved it and we can't wait to come back! Thank you

No fridge in room. Boutique feeling. Small rooms, but stylish. Great location for BART and restaurants. Staff slightly unprofessional but they are eager to help.

The entire hotel staff was courteous and accommodating.

Was very nice, great location. A bit expensive for a quick overnight trip, but the proximity to local restaurants and attractions was worth it. No parking, we had to search for parking on the street or pay $30 to use parking garage over night.

This was a great hotel, in a great location, for a great value. I would recommend this hotel to friends/family.

We have stayed here 4 times now and it is always a pleasure. The staff is very accommodating, the rooms are very nice and very clean. I feel safe here even though the hotel is right downtown. It is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. We will stay here again when we visit Berkeley- its worth it. It was hot in Berkeley during our stay and I wish I could have turned the A/C down below 68 to cool off the room more, but I understand its a green thing.

The Hotel, the staff and the restaurant are great. We had a great long weekend.

Everything has been perfect here. Staff is great. The only thing I can bad about it is that we didn't have a menu in our room for room service, and the ice bucket was rather small. Overall a wonderful stay.

We loved the hotel. usually stay at the Hotel Durant but thought this could be our new favorite. The restaurant and bar have a very nice feel. Everyone we encountered at checkin, at the bar, and housekeeping was wonderful.

Nice hotel, convenient location. Room is spacy, however no mini bar. Restaurant & bar inside are great!

I never stay in hotels like this. I am always a corp travel guy, this was a wonderful change of pace!

Stayed at this hotel for three nights. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Room was small

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Questions we asked via telephone were answered respectfully and the from the moment we arrived we felt welcomed.

We stayed one night for a conference at the almost next door Berkeley City College. Great location for downtown Berkeley events, restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful, room a bit smallish but comfy. Front entrance has a tile peace sign, humorous nod to Berkeley history!

Very convenient location just next to Bart station.
