Rooms are comfy. Not happy about paying resort fee to use pool once & parking fee that was used twice - charged 3 days

Town and Country is listed as a 3 Star Resort, I feel that is an appropriate rating. The resort is nice to a point. If you are staying in a bungalow its a good place, however if you are staying in one of the hotel rooms, not as much. The room was ok, nothing fancy. There was a lot of in and out traffic that I had to watch out for my kids, it was labor day weekend so it was fairly busy. Some customers actually got stuck in the elevator, the elevators are old. Parking was ok, and food that we had was pretty good. It's an ok place to go for a short vacation. Well positioned to all the attractions in San Diego, (Seaworld, Zoo and beach)

Clean , Except the Carpet in the 'Room and the 'Elevator 'Need to be Polish the 'Gold trim.

Great time.

They have done a nice job with the remodel of the property, everything is clean and a very retro looking we do love it. Only down fall is the room we stayed in was very small. We did check out other rooms they were much larger.

The $20 daily resort fee was not worth it. The main pool was extremely dirty. There was black scum all around the pool tiles and the water was murky. Upon seeing this I did not use the pool during our entire stay. My son didn't care too much for the pool slide, he slid down a few times, but then was bored of it. In addition, the slide closed early, 5pm. Our room was dirty, there was blood or tomato sauce on one of the sliding bathroom doors. One of the televisions did not work, it kept saying “no signal.” I called the front office and informed them the very first night of our stay, but they never ended up fixing it. This wasn’t a luxurious hotel, definitely not worthy to charge guests resort or parking fees.

Great for kids

Supee family friendly loved the environment my kids had an awesome time.

They are still staffing up and you have to wait a long time to get food out to the pool. The redone facility looks retro but modern at the same time. We enjoyed our stay there.

Disappointing stay. Took hours for them to get my room ready. Then the pool was full. No attendant and I stepped on poop in the pool so they had to close it for hours to clean it up. No social distancing and no special accommodations made for covid safety. Was lied to that I would be given a discount. Food is overpriced. Very crowded and loud place. Hotel has dirty carpets, ac in room was not cool enough. Overpriced.

The place was old, our towels were dirty, the elevators were small and took forever to wait for. The stairwell was closed off.

The property was in the middle of a remodel. would have been nice to know

Everything and everyone was exceptional i would definitely go back

Great place overall but food options during the morning and lunch were so limited. It was very loud at night and the pools were very crowded on the weekend. Had to uber or taxi really to go anywhere (which we did). The evenings were fun and the place is really hopping. The pools were quite fabulous.

I liked the friendliness of the staff and the overall conditions of the hotel. I didn't like the fact I got charged a service fee and parking fee on top of everything we had to pay for the room. First time I get to see that.

No parking so many extra charges.
