Room 117 next to pool and hot tub, very noisy, music playing right outsid the room. Door to room does not close properly, no weather seal, light coming in all around perimeter. Expensive paid parking spaces were too small for most vehicles. After three nights, my car doors were damaged from other vehicles with same issues. Will not return.

We had a very nice stay. The koi ponds were so neat around the resort. It is not the absolute newest, but it is clean. If we stay in San Diego again we would definitely return. It is walking distance to shopping, food, drinks and most importantly the beach.

The room was clean and staff was friendly. But like a lot have commented, it needs an update. Everything seems very tired and worn out. Also, the ‘two’ restaurants and pretty much the same thing that doesn’t seem to know what it wants to be. Would be wise to have one more ‘upscale’ dining with nice meal options and another more ‘pub’ or cafe style dining.
