nice location, nice view, veldt a little expensive 47 usd but excellent hotel

Easy access to highways. Signed up for Guest program and yet charged for WiFi. They corrected this tho' Pleasant hotel

Hotel is beautiful & has amazing views of Petco Park, The Bay & Coronado Island. We were upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite! A luxurious surprise! Staff were very attentive! It was a great place to Stay! Worth every penny

Lovely little hotel close to great restaurants and shopping, right in the heart of San Diego. The staff was awesome -- so friendly and helpful!

The staff was amazing! From the front door to room service they are a great team.

Great location, nice hotel, don't use the expensive wallet service since there is a parking across the road. My room had noise from the upstairs bathroom so the front desk clerk removed some fees from the final invoice which was greatly appreciated. Amazing view.

Stayed in a corner room on the 13th floor. Room did not smell fresh at all. Smelled like dirty laundry. We checked in at 6 and the window was already open so we left it open hoping to air it out. We arrived back to our room at 3am and the smell was still there. Valet staff were friendly. Reception staff were not. Called reservations earlier in the day to ask a question regarding the hotel. Reservations lady seemed like I was bothering her. Overall I wouldn't choose to stay in this hotel again.

Easy check in, very helpful and good location. Close to but far enough away from Hilton convention certer.

Omni had very helpful staff and beautiful facilities. However, it was five nights of the worst sleep we've ever had. During our first night, we were put on the 21st floor and starting at 9pm and hours through the night (on a MONDAY) there was loud drumming and music coming from a elevated outdoor bar off of/near the stadium. We put cushions and blankets over the windows and used earplugs to try to dull out the drumming and wailing, to no avail. Finally called front desk who offered us a white noise machine. Tried to sleep with that on at max white noise AND ear plugs and it was terrible still. Next morning, called front desk to be moved given the terrible night. Explained the whole situation. We were moved to a the 16th floor, but next to the multiple railway tracks (googlemap the location, you'll see what I mean). Every single night there were very loud rush of trains, tooting, and loud "stop and start" engine noises. Something to do with the trains seemed to happen every two hours or so throughout the night. I was so sleep deprived by the time we left San Diego. You'd have thought the hotel would have used more noise-reducing glass panes for their window. It's a shame that the most basic function of the hotel (sleeping comfortably) was so terrible, while many of the other things about the Omni was great (e.g., location, facilities..) We were here as a couple (late 20's/early thirties) to explore San Diego and for some time away.

This is one of my favorite hotels in all of San Diego. We are big baseball fans and love the private bridge entrance for games and the amazing view of Petco Park from some of the rooms. The hotel is modern and sophisticated, but SOME of the hotel staff really need a crash course in customer service.

Hotel was almost great, except we specifically booked a king bed, but they switched us to two double beds (not queen). Specifically wanted a King bed for me, my wife, and young toddler. Because of the switch my wife and I had to sleep in separate beds for the whole stay with alternating nights with the toddler. Was bad enough that the front desk was trying to tell us it was an upgrade and we should be happy (no!). Also the hotel should control crowds better. The lobby was filled with non-guests hanging out trying to catch autographs from the Redsox players staying there. No place for us to sit while waiting for ride/etc.

I would go back. Nice pool. Coffee before 6 a.m. enjoiyed and appeicated. Fun convenient location.

very nice hotel and very nice staff clean good service

Good location by the convention ctr and the baseball field. Ctr of a lot of fun things. Pool was heated well and a good thing because it was chilly at night when we swam! Very clean also!!

Overall, the hotel is nice, but our room was not cleaned and we had to phone housekeeping in the evening when we returned.

Helpful staff and recommendation of activities in town

Hotel was conveniently located for many activities ,only issue is area is just on the border of where revitalization has not been done yet, with that said we felt that area was safe as long as you use common sense. San Diego was a very nice place to visit and we would most definitely return.

Stayed here for my friend's wedding and had a great time. I got to hangout by the outdoor pool then stroll down to watch the game at Petco park all before going to the wedding. The hotel has great service and amenities and is so close to everything you can think of doing. The only downside which is to be expected anyways for the location was the price of parking. The lot adjacent to the hotel is half the price.

Ckean and comfortable and close to the Gaslamp District for access to restaurants and bars.

I've never had ANY hotel room ready before 1pm. When I arrived around 11am, my room was ready & after an early morning & a 5 hour flight, I needed it. The hotel staff was very friendly & courteous. The Doormen & Bell Staff were so very helpful. They pointed out the best places to eat & even helped me plan out some of my excursions. I can't say I've ever had a better experience staying at a hotel.
