Unfortunately my balcony looked out to a parking lot but I could see where others had amazing views. The view from the tables by the pool at night are very relaxing. Directly across the street from the hotel are some beautiful beaches with amazing walks and incredible views of downtown San Diego

The first room they put us in HVAC didn’t work bathtub was clogged and there was black moldy spots on the bathroom ceiling we advised them and they moved us to a new room it’s still a good hotel but definitely needs some attention also the beach across from the hotel is very dirty my daughter and I would walk in the morning and pick up handfuls of trash on out walks definitely wouldn’t walk barefoot

The front desk people were delightful and the process could not have been easier. We were offered a room upgrade in a corner view facing the bay room and it is clean. The bed is comfortable… Definitely a no-frills room but nice! The location could not be nicer however, there is periodic noise coming from North Island, which is a short distance across the bay… Lots of helicopters, taking off and landing. It’s a great deal and highly recommend recommended.

Checked in late, but they still held a nice room for me. Room as expected, but good for an older hotel.
