Even though it stated that parking was included there was no parking available. I was traveling with my baby so I requested a non-smoking room, when we got the room it smelled like smoke and had cigarette burns in the sofa, when I asked to change rooms the staff told me that it used to be a smoking room but they could asure me that nobody had smoked there in the last 6 months…they didn’t let me change rooms.
Rooms seemed insulated for noise between them. Night desk was very accommodating, even inquiring if I was intending to check-in before the 1am office close; I arrived 12:50. Also, there was no house phone so we had to walk downstairs or call the office with our cell to ask for a late check-out. Granted only a 30-minute late check-outm it was tight. Overall, situated at the upscale marina neighborhood Shelter Island it was a pleasant experience. Thanks!
