The hotel staff, especially Hope, was exceptionally kind and accommodating. I was traveling with my elderly dad and needed a wheelchair-accessible room. Although Expedia showed that the rooms it suggested met all my requirements, I was shocked to find out upon arrival that the room was not wheelchair accessible. I had to call Expedia, and they kept passing me around without offering any real help—just repeated apologies that didn’t solve the problem. Hope at the front desk went above and beyond to assist us and managed to change the room type, even though Expedia had insisted that no wheelchair-accessible rooms were available.
The food at the Marina Kitchen was average; dinner service was poor, with servers clearly overworked. However, breakfast and the morning service were excellent.
