I’ve never left a bad review for a place in my life, but after my stay here I felt compelled to say something. Even by the grimiest dive motel standards this place is a disgrace. If you are seeking this place for the bargain, sorry to say you will be nickeled and dime’d into paying twice what you expect. Need extra towels? They’ll charge you. Need soap, that’s a charge. Did you spill juice on the bed sheets? That’s a charge too. The staff is just plane rude and the rooms are...in my humble opinion this place shouldn’t even be listed on orbits.

Very clean room, proximity to Old Town San Diego was great.

No housekeeping. No breakfast options nearby. Close to I 8. Loud a/c unit. Poorly kept public spaces. Tiny toilet. The shower water changes from scalding hot to icey cold without input.

Great, beautiful receptionist, attentive and accomodating!

Nice and clean room, free parking! They have washer and dryer at the floor. Iron and Iron board at room. Mini fridge at room!

Very convenient and reasonable pricing HDMI input without access

The front desk was great. After that, it was downhill. Jacuzzi was lukewarm beds were hard as a rock.

The lady at the front desk was the best. Never had such a pleasant check in. Property is renovated which was nice to see new stuff there. Bed was fairly comfy and the property is located close to a lotta cool stuff I like that it’s tucked away so it’s pretty quiet although it’s next to the freeway

Great stay. Clean and quiet. Great staff. Excellent location.

The outside of the hotel (hallways and elevator mainly) show wear and tear, and made me wonder about the conditions of the room before I entered. However, the room itself was more recently remodeled and quite comfortable; everything was clean, the bathroom in good condition, and the amenities were as advertised. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is key card entry to the parking area, and rooms of course. I'd say it's a "don't-judge-a-book-by-its-cover" kind of place and would stay there again.

Right next to baseball park and bike path to the beach

Never again! The place was dirty. Loud music late and people were hanging around outside. Does not seem like a safe location.

The check in process was fast and easy, staff was nice and cordial. The property seemed run down in the exterior with dirty hallways and walls. The parking lot area was scary, not enough lighting and random people walking around. We were afraid someone would break in our rental. The room was simple with very cheap bedding, the bed creaked all night, and the AC didn’t seem to cool the room down. The fridge from 1960 didn’t work and the tub was dirty. All in all, a quick overnight that we won’t do again.

Bed was very comfortable. Room was very clean and spacious. Lots of free parking and a grest location. A/C did not work to well. Yes it was beautiful outside but far to dangerous to sleep with the window open. One microwave you had to walk to on the second floor, but a refrigerator in every room, very odd. Washer and dryer is very convenient.

Beds were in horrible condition. The toilet work improperly...water too slow to fill up water tank. Called front desk and was told they would "fix it." They never came. Although their price was reasonable ($69 per night), I suggest you spend another $20-$30 and stay at another place. Say NO to this place.

Really nice property - 2 mins drive to the Old Town of San Diego. Easy to find and a good budget option for the area.

Great location...great price point...large rooms...modern feel

Dear Gladden, I think it's only fair to share the other side of the story. We charged your credit card for damaged linens that we were not able to use again because of the extend of the damages. Also, you were charged for a late check out because your guest stayed 2 hours past checked out time. Your review comes as a surprise because you wanted to stay again, and the only reason you were not able to extend your stay was because we were sold out.
