Bed was very comfortable. Room was very clean and spacious. Lots of free parking and a grest location. A/C did not work to well. Yes it was beautiful outside but far to dangerous to sleep with the window open. One microwave you had to walk to on the second floor, but a refrigerator in every room, very odd. Washer and dryer is very convenient.

Beds were in horrible condition. The toilet work improperly...water too slow to fill up water tank. Called front desk and was told they would "fix it." They never came. Although their price was reasonable ($69 per night), I suggest you spend another $20-$30 and stay at another place. Say NO to this place.

Really nice property - 2 mins drive to the Old Town of San Diego. Easy to find and a good budget option for the area.

Great location...great price point...large rooms...modern feel

Property was run down and pool closed very early 8:00 pm. After quiet hours began there were women who weren't staying at the hotel soliciting business. Not the best place for a family to stay!!

I really loved my stay at Riverleaf. The decor is modern and stylish. The room was very clean. Wifi was great and they have cable TV and not just your basic channels. There were a group of people hanging out in the jacuzzi til late at night when we stayed and we could not hear them when we were in our room. That was great! All the tourist attractions we wanted to go to were within 7 miles of the hotel and yet it was situated in a private area. There are only two cons. The first is that they didn't have a big dresser to unpack our belongings into. We didn't stay too long so that was not a big issue. Second, they have outdoor speakers that were turned on pretty early Saturday morning. Very annoying when you are trying to sleep in past 8am. All in all, I will definitely come here again!

The price was right, the room quite nice and clean. There was no chair at the desk for working on the computer. The cleaning people did not give us new cups or coffee supplies - both days we had to go to the office and ask for them. There's a nice pool and a spa that was heated to around 90 degrees - cool for a hot tub but still pleasant.

Perfect for what we needed, at a good price. Easy to find.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Will stay again next time I go to San Diego.

Centralized location was great...everything was what I expected, given the price-point/hotel property/category I choose...towels a bit thin/small, and AC was tricky, but not reasons to deter me from coming back. For the $'s it was a fair value, and would use again.

Much improved following remodel. No soda snack machines available, Only sold at front desk, and prices are a bit outrageous for its class

Good price for a good location. The room was very nice.

Not smoker friendly - 9nly real criticism - staff and security very friendly

This hotel was awful and false advertising. Your room does not have a microwave. There's only one for the entire hotel guest to use and you have to walk to it where the ice machine is. My comforter had several dirt spots and stains. The bed didn't even come with a head board. And last but not least the refrigerator was leaking. Awful awful awful good thing I brought my own blanket though.

Don’t do it. Just don’t do it. This place is sketchy. The bed is made out of paper it feels.

When I arrived my room was not clean at check in. I called the front desk to get moved but the computer was slow and the staff member said she would call back. After 20 minutes I called back. She said she was looking into it. She finally found a room to move me to. I told her I wasn’t satisfied and she said she would have the manager contact me the next day. No call. I told the day shift staff about my experience. They apologized. No manager ever contacted me. The motel is recently renovated to an extent, but the work is shoddy. Towels were all the size of a bath mat. Location is good if you have a car but isn’t easy to walk to anywhere from it. Unless you are desperate, I cannot think of a reason to stay there.

Decent but aged hotel in good location near Old Town, malls, beaches.
