The location was great. Real close to a lot of different activities in downtown San Diego. Valet parking was reasonable.

Air conditioning did not work properly, very warm in the room. too much furniture in the room. The rooms are too tiny for that much furniture.

I enjoyed the location and the architectural uniqueness of the property. I did. It enjoy the room service.

The Sofia Hotel has some nice history in the neighborhood. This can be seen throughout the building. The hotel meets expectations!

The Gym was a plus. It was well equipped and clean. Besides, I wish I could have used the bicycle option to move around the city but I couldn’t because of my schedule.

I was impressed overall with the hotel and staff. In a great area for walking.

Nice people. Clean. Older They tack on an undisclosed $15.00 “ administration fee” per night at checkout which I found dishonest. Even the desk clerk was embarrassed when I asked about it

It was disappointing that I booked a Deluxe Suite on Orbitz at the Sofia Hotel that was listed as 2669 square feet and when I checked in and arrived at my room it wasn't even 300 square feet. It was disappointing that it was advertised as having a jet bath tub which was a small bathtub that had converted jets on the inside. And the jet tub DID NOT work. It was disappointing that I paid $1200 to stay two nights over the weekend in July 2019 and did not get any of what I was promised on the Orbitz listing other than a King Sized bed. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. But it was a very disappointing stay. I brought this up to the hotel and they have no rooms bigger than 300 square feet and I was given one of the biggest rooms they have so they couldn't upgrade me. I was given a refund on their resort fees and taxes which accounts for $50 I believe? Which was nice but still I paid over $100 more to get a room with a jet tub that didn't work. Even Parking there was almost $70 for two nights.

They had a bunch of useful amenities including bikes, coffee, and water

Parking is so expensive!! Other than that we really like staying here and would come back, great location

It was very clean and the staff couldn't have been more helpful.

What a great hotel!! When we checked in Helena checked us in. And boy was she pleasant. My boyfriend and I were going to dinner at Oceanaire and she looked around for discount cards. Unfortunately she didn't find anything. But I appreciate how hard she looked to help us. Our room was small, but it worked for us as it was just a place to rest our head. Upon check out she was just as helpful! If I needed a place to stay in downtown I would definitely make it happen. We were in walking distance to PetCo park, maybe took us 20 minutes to walk

Nice cute boutique hotel. Easy walking distance to restaurants and Petco Park, Seaport Village

Great location, old property seems patched together as a hotel.

Boutique hotel in prime downtown location, half the price of neighboring conference hotels!

As a historic building, it was a great place to stay. Above all, it is centrally located.
