Wonderful staff! Great location. The room is too small.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I assumed from the description and the price that our room would be very very tiny and uncomfortable. It was not. It was bigger than I expected and we were very comfortable during our stay. My only issues were that there was not much lighting in the room. So the room was rather dark even with all the lights on. Also, there was no bathtub, just a stand up shower. I would have liked to have a bathtub to soak in.

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff. Horton Plaza is within walking distance. Not too many places to eat. Parking daily rate is lower than other hotels.

This was my second time staying at this hotel great location and great price for a cute room. Friendly staff. My only suggestion is for the in room coffee. Would be nice to have better quality coffee and calorie free sweetener and creamer(not powder).

$36 a night for valet parking. Excellent staff, beautiful lobby. Room was kind of small and bathroom set up was a bit awkward

Small rooms in this historic hotel but brilliant design and detailing. Loved it.

I needed to attend a court hearing at the san diego superior court. our offices are in los angeles and did not wish to risk the "traffic" situation in getting to court on time. so, I booked for a one night stay. the front desk clerk was kind and courtesy and extended a late check out for us since our hearing lasted until noon. We were given a 1 pm check out which was much appreciated. We were also allowed to leave our vehicle for hours after check out to accommodate a lunch date after the hearing. all good...

The staff was very helpful at check in. The cleaning staff were dressed in classic cleaning attire for the historic hotel! A plus.

I didn't know what to expect when I booked the room online. I was interested in a reasonably priced hotel within walking distance of my 2 day business training. I was very pleased with the hotel and would stay there again.

This was a nice place to stay for a weekend away in San Diego. It's within walking distance of several restaurants and the bay. It doesn't have a lot of extras, no breakfast, and the valet parking was very expensive; however, it had a very pleasant staff. Clearly, one is paying for its great location.

Extraordinary example of a classic hotel that has been updated with all modern conveniences and comforts. Pride in such a quality facility is evident throughout, from the cleanliness of all areas to interactions with every employee.

Our family had a wonderful time in San Diego. While we rented a car, we were able to walk to many of our destinations. The hotel is clean, well-maintained.

We had a wonderful stay. I would have given a 5 star but the wi-fi in our room was horrible.

Friendly place, parking was weird so I was forced to pay for valet. Not a big problem but wasn't really expecting that. Overall great time!

Staff was amazing! Loved Enzo! So personable and welcoming! Great location and beautiful hotel.

This is a very comfortable hotel in an ideal downtown location - close to the waterfront and a great selection of eateries.

My experience was wonderful! I would go back to the same hotel next time I'm in San Diego.

The rooms are nice but a little small. Very convenient area.

Very convenient location, small but very comfortable and clean room. The negative point about this hotel is the staff that was rude. As an Orbitz Reward Platinum member, they were supposed to offer me a unique perk but they did not. They only upgraded the room like they would do to a Gold member. Very disappointed.

The shower has no door and spills water all over the restroom, housekeeping will open your door before 9:00am even by putting notice up for privacy and when you report smoke you are questioned and blame is shifted to housekeeping without a care in the world. I didn't think a stay at a hotel could ever be bad; this is my first time experiencing something so bad I will not come back. It is not worth it.
