Always stay here for business travel in San Diego. Location is central, rooms are always clean, safe, comfortalbe and traveling with a pet this time, extremely appreciative of pet friendly options at The Handlery Hotel.

Overall, a nice property in a convenient and central part of town. Was a bit disappointed with the check-in experience, I requested a room with a balcony and paid a premium for this option. When I got to my room, my balcony "view" was of the parking lot and busy freeway! Not worth the $50 up charge. The swimming pool area and lobby, etc. are rather nice however. I still enjoyed my stay overall.

food was great in both restaurants. Service good in all areas. You can tell the rooms are oldfer but are well taken care of and very clean so we had no issues whatsoever and would stay again.

We had stayed here before, so it was great to return. Perfect for our stay and needs. We came around Halloween and enjoyed the decor and the staff’s pumpkin carving contest. So creative and they have a great sense of humor. We like the bar and hanging by the pool before we departed
