Be careful of a surprise $5 fee per night to park. Also the bathroom and kitchen in my queen mini suite had no soap. Front desk said I had to use the body wash from the shower. Very weird. Dead bolt on our door did not work. I also found the front desk to be generally unavailable. It was relatively inexpensive so part of me wants to say what do you expect.

DO NOT STAY HERE! The owners do not care about you

PLEASE do not stay here!! First, I requested a non-smoking room but when I walked in, it REEKED of cigarette smoke. They were sold-out due to SDSU Parent's Weekend, so there were no rooms to move to. Then- the second night...Oh Boy...It was around 1am and there was a lot of chatter outside of my door. It went on for 20 minutes and I stuck my head out. "Sorry" the people said, "We're all out here because a pipe burst in our two rooms and your room is probably next". I looked in their rooms and there was 3" of water and feces all over their floors, and spilling out to our shared balcony. I went inside, gathered everything off the floors in case I was indeed next, and then put earplugs in and tried to go back to sleep. At 3:20am a HACKSAW began to cut through the wall from one of the other rooms. A HACKSAW. AT 3:20 AM. There was no sleep for the rest of the morning. I left at 4am and slept in my car. These owners WILL NOT refund me for even ONE of the nights I stayed there. I booked through Hotels.com and they even tried to get me a refund, but the owners said, "Nope. Our policy is no refunds. Period". Hmmm, I thought your policy was also to provide a place for a guest to get rest and sleep. They offer dated, disgusting rooms, there's no bottles of water available, not even coffee makers in the kitchens, and the floors made my socks black. I am never one to write reviews, but I couldn't let this one go. Absolute dump.

Never stay here! The only thing clean looking was the lobby. The pictures on expedia have to be from when the hotel was new. Terribly disappointed. Room had no phone, door was broken and had a 1/2" gap down the threshold, severe mold in bathroom, very, very old furniture, something on the wall, knobs missing off of old furniture, mattress was lopsided, etc. When I saw the room, I immediately went to the desk where the person was on the same speakerphone call he was on when we checked in. He acted like it was no nug deal. I told him we were not staying here and he said "O.K." and went back to his phone call. He tried to remedy nothing..I was also disappointed that the hotel would only credit me two nights, even though we never even stayed there. We checked in, saw room, went directly back to the desk, gave him the room key and left. While leaving, there was a man with a laundry cart full of stuff and a pit bull dog going into a room...

This Days Inn is false advertisement, I've stayed in other Days Inn, but this was nothing compared to those. The room is nothing like the photos shown on the description. There was no hot water in our shower, a leg was broken on one of the tables in the lving room, making the table unstable, the room smelled musty and damp. Same with the outside, the halls are dirty and susty and the elevator has not been inspected since last year. I definitely won't be staying here again.

So many things wrong with this property. It is like walking back into the 70s. The noise level from the room above warranted three complaints. Two went unanswered and I finally had to go to the front desk to complain. Made no difference. There were ants in the bathroom. On the bathroom sink/counter, the shower, the toilet back, and the floor. The ice machine didn’t work. Breakfast was in a sketchy room. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I would have walked away if I would have bought the insurance. Only stayed because I was committed financially. The one good thing I could say was the bed was comfortable. I always bring my own pillow. The room was dirty. The floor was dirty, shower was slimy and slippery. They sprayed some perfumy crap to appear clean. Nauseating smell. Kitchen area had drain flies or fruit flies. Had one land in my morning coffee. Yuk. Them killled another while I was sitting there. Awful, dirty,disgusting place. I worried about turning on a light and seeing roaches. Luckily I didn’t. The check in staff was NOT friendly or helpful at all. Charged me an extra 5.00 to park on the property and I don’t recall seeing that listed. Would not recommend or return. Plenty of other nicer places, staff and amenities elsewhere.

The outside was very rundown. Lobby was in disrepair and dirty . Elevator had a very urine he odor. Very disappointed when we went in the room. Too many problems to mention. Dirty, beat up room. Marks, dent , dirty air conditioners with lint and Cheerios in the vents. Afraid to lay on the bed or walk on the floor. Checked out as soon as we could.

Real was very cheap and smelled like marijuana. When we got back later in the day, the room was flooded from the bedroom upstairs due to an overflowing toilet. Hotel staff was said to give me another room until I became extremely frustrated with them. I’ll never stay there again.

The room was really big and spacious. One elevator that took some time but plenty of parking. Be aware there is an additional $5 charge to park per day that must be paid separately. Nice small breakfast with waffles. There is no convenient food options near, will have to drive at least 10 minutes.

I reserved a king bed paid in advance because I knew I would be in late gave me a double queen. Me and my wife in a queen no good. Property was fairly clean however a bunch of junk in the parking garage make it look dirt. A lot of people hanging out early evening smoking and drinking in the parking lot but not loud or disruptive just a bad look. The room itself was clean and all the appliances worked and were clean as well(I used my fridge, freezer, micro, sink and stove top) so very pleased. Breakfast closed right at 930am I got there at 935am smelt good but be on time. Overall I would stay again real convenient to the freeway and central San Diego.
