The house was perfect for a group trip! Walking distance to many coffee shops, 15 minutes from all sites, and a safe neighborhood. It exceeded expectations and the hosts were super nice, helpful and accommodating! Would 100% stay again

Great heritage home with local activities

Gathered the boys for a relaxing trip away from daily life and this home away from home was the perfect fit for our needs.Backyard space is great for entertainment, formal living room and dining room allowed us to watch the game and play a little poker house game.Rooms are definitely under sold with the photos, especially the master bedroom upstairs which had its own kitchenette.You can tell at one point this was a multi family dwelling but being able to explore the house was like being a kid in a maze and brought a lot of excitement to the group.Kitchen had so many spices and dinnerware we didn't need to bring half the stuff we did for our night in.Thank you Aubrey for hosting us and we'll hopefully be back soon.

A perfect way to spend some time in San Diego

We have a wonderful stay in this amazing house - such a beautiful home with lovely decor and amenities that were top notch. Room to spread out but still felt “cozy” to all of us. Location is central to everything - zoo, navy pier, Little Italy, etc - and the town just down the street is so charming with all the shops and restaurants you need for a relaxing visit. We especially enjoyed all of the fruit trees in the yard and the frequent hummingbird visitors!.

Balboa historic treat!

While attending a business conference at the Convention Center, I rented this house for me and 4 coworkers. Easy, convenient location. And what a fantastic house! Best bedding of any property I have ever rented.

Great Location, Nice House, OUTSTANDING Communication!

Aubrey's communication was top notch. I've booked a lot of properties for our business associates, but this was the first time I had zero worries - I knew if anything wasn't right she'd be on top of it. The guests all said the house more than met their needs, and was in a great area for the expo they attended.

Charming and great for a family gathering!

We recently hosted a family gathering of 10, and this house exceeded our expectations. It is a unique, beautiful, and historic Craftsman home that truly stands out. Once you become familiar with its charming layout and distinctive features, you appreciate how well it accommodates a large group. Despite its spaciousness, the house also offers plenty of quiet corners for those seeking some alone time. The backyard provided a perfect setting to relax, converse, and enjoy each other’s company. The location is excellent—conveniently close to stores, restaurants, and bars. Although I had initially been concerned about potential street noise, we found the house to be remarkably quiet inside. Aubrey, the host, was fantastic—highly responsive and attentive to our needs. I highly recommend this house for a family gathering.

Not your cookie cutter place. Historical craftsman. Lots of nooks and crannies that once you figure out is pretty functional. Fully updated. Walkable to restaurants and shops. Highly recommend for a unique stay!

Incredible property in beautiful South Park

We truly loved our stay at Aubrey’s beautiful house. We had a large group of adults convening for a weekend of birthday celebration, and the house was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and felt like an incredible oasis. It had everything our large group needed, and guests were blown away by how stunning and peaceful the home is. Aubrey was incredibly responsive and helpful; would recommend this stay to anyone who wants to a piece of the stunning architecture San Diego has to offer in a stylish fashion. Close to the best restaurants and bars in the city.

Such a Special Home!

This beautiful property had plenty of room for us to have our own space, yet also gather together. The outdoor spaces were fun for all ages and we really enjoyed the game garage and the firepit. Everyone commented about how comfortable the beds were. The communication with the host was outstanding and very appreciated. This was a really special, historic home that provided a great gathering place for extended family. There is a lot of traffic noise from 30th Street, but only family members who are sensitive to road noise noticed.
