It was a great stay especially their cookies but other places were close off and first time there with my husband and we were looking for a family oriented hotel with more activities besides pool which was nice but was looking forward to more festivals within the hotel.

Room was excellent. Very comfortable. I love the friendliness of the staff and the location does not get any better than this. the Trolley is right across the street, (a 5 minute walk). You can get to literally "any place" you need to go in San Diego from the trolley. I will definitely stay here next time i'm in San Diego.

My first impression of the hotel was good. It has a nice lobby area and our room was what I’ve expected. But the reason for the mediocre rating is because of the following: 1. Extra fee for everything: $40 parking per day. We had to paid for parking, even thought it wasn’t even located in a busy area. There are free parkings right across the street. Bottle waters are not complimentary. Unless you’re a Hilton hotel member. Wifi is not free. 2. Does not clean room daily: We were there for 4 nights and our room was only cleaned once! We’re not morning people so we put a “Do not disturb” tag on the door, but in my experience at other hotels, they would come back later and clean our room. 3. Always had to ask for towels: We used their pool twice and each time there were no towels! Not just the pool towels were an issue but we booked a double bed since there were 4 of us, but they only stock 3 towels. Asked for more towels but still only got 3! 4. Cafe in the hotel: Not sure what the operation hours are. We usually get down there from our room after 10:30am. First day it was opened, then next day it was closed. The next day we waited along with other guests then they finally came back at 11:20am. Overall I feel like it was nice hotel and we like the location as it was close to the Fashion mall and central to all the places we visited. They had a pool and hot-tub and my kids enjoyed the pool. Which is why I gave it a 3 stars. Maybe if they paid more attention to the little things,

Great property, great location, the room was not as clean as I expected. Had a musty smell and the carpet looked filthy. I was afraid to take my shoes off. It was probably stains, but off-putting for sure.
