The hotel is lovely. The grounds are well kept and beautiful. The setting along the water is so nice. We enjoyed the pool area a few days during our stay. The room had a tiny patio with 2 chairs and small table. There was also a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Beds were comfy. We did have issues with keeping the room cool - the thermostat was constantly set at 60°, but it didn't maintain a cool temp.

Love the idea of this place and surroundings. However, this hotel needs some TLC. Room needs updating, old and not modern rooms. Music venue and restaurant seem great, but not active or open on a Monday nights. Staff was friendly and pointing me in the right direction for food etc. Renovations needed.

Room could have been cleaner and more accessible. It was a very long walk to our room with our luggage and no bell man or luggage cart . Breakfast in the restaurant was very good. Room size was good. Very large property so lots of walking…but we were just there for 1 night as we were cruising the next day.
