Great hotel! Love the suites, is got everything we need from pots and plates and cups and utensils. It is very convenient, and the location is great! A very clean room would stay again in the future. We parked on the street. It is free from 6:00PM to 8:00AM, except Sundays.

The location is very convenient and it’s kinda new renovation.

The location of this hotel is great! Easy walk to the gas lamp quarter and access to the 5. Unfortunately that’s where the positives stop. We stayed for 5 days our room was serviced daily but our trash was taken out once. The reason this is a major issue for us is there is a full kitchen in our room. So while our beds were made, we had food in the trash can that even when I moved it from under the sink so they could see it it was just left in the walk way. In addition to this, we had a pretty major shower leak. We called the front desk as there was almost a quarter inch of water covering the floor during every shower, they sent someone that didn’t fix it. So we brought it up again on our way out one day and came back to find dirty gloves, things knocked off the counter and our bath towels to sop up water from the “repair” and our room unserviced due to the repair workers. So we were given fresh towels. We were given the option to move rooms or a bottle of wine, which we were never given. The rooms were not clean, they weren’t dirty the hotel just looks like a flipper special. Def will not be staying again. Do not feel like it’s a good value.

This was one of the more reasonable priced places in downtown during this day. The room itself was excellent. It would have been nice if they had free parking, but since we were on the weekend we got some free parking outside anyways. Having a swimming pool would be nice also. The staff were always friendly to us. I'd stay here again for sure. Anyways, walking to the gas lamp area with all the bars and stuff is about a 8 minute walk or so.

One that have a kitchen within. Cleanliness very comfortable beds which my kids also love. Beautiful view esp. at night. We were on the very top floo.

The room was modern, spacious, and had a great selection of TV stations. I appreciate the options to conserve water and power if the guest chooses.

No direct access from parking to the lobby, need to go outside and walk in to the parking building, combersome

I like how clean the place was. Complimentary breakfast was awesome. Location was pretty good. We walked most of the time and I was close to everything. Our phone didn’t work so we didn’t get to experience the robot. It took a while to check out too because they were trying to adjust the rates but the manager was on lunch. Overall everything else was good.

Great location, close walk from most popular San Diego attractions.

Friendly staff, great location, free breakfast, clean.

We needed a pull out bed which it said on the website that it was available and there was not... and the front desk gave away our original reservation..

Hello, I would like to extend my apologies for the issues that you faced on your stay with us, and for any negative impressions we may have given you and your family. If I recall I had spoke with you personally about your issue with the room and suggested that we move your family to a different room because I didn't want to leave a bad impression by not giving you the option. You discussed it with your spouse and informed me that the both of you decided that you would rather continue to stay in the room as long as you could have someone clean the room and bring you towels. I made sure that our on duty runner/houseman carried out and completed your requests and when I offered you further compensation with a bottle of wine you did say that you would pick it up on your way back from dinner. I do apologies for the experience but I do also want to assure you that this is not the culture or the norm here at Towneplace Suites. We are a service culture here that strives for excellence and leave a lasting positive impression on our guests. Thank you for your honest feedback and I can assure you that the issues you encountered have already been addressed.
