location is convenient to San Diego zoo, Sea World, and downtown. hotel is fairly clean and staff members are nice. Parking is not complimentary, but breakfast is and pretty good.

We were not told we would be paying $26 a day for parking until we arrived. We had to ask for a hair dryer, a second roll of toilet paper, Kleenex, and when we showered the shampoo was empty. We were told the designated smoking area was out past the swimming pool however the doors were locked until 10am. No ashtray of any kind was provided.

The staff wasn't great. The furniture was run-down. The plugs on the dressers didn't work. The ottoman at the foot of the bed had most of its vinyl ripped off, giving the room a trashy feel. The furniture in the lobby and dining area was excessively worn, with vinyl peeling from all the chairs and couches, making the entire hotel look tacky. The coffee was not in the eating area, which was unfortunate.
These plugs were extremely loose so they weren't able to hold the plug in. Both USB and regular plugs.
We had to bring the nightstand over to plug in the curling iron.
Ottoman at the foot of the bed. Get rid of it!

The room was nice and clean, perfect when traveling with kids. The hotel has a pool, jacuzzi, outdoor and in door lounge areas, a gym, and daily free breakfast. I will come back and stay again.
