Only negative was the bay-view window was covered in dust and the parking spots were all sized for compact cars. Get two SUV parked side to side and no room to open doors

I was there for 1 night. What I appreciated was that I was able to get into the room early. Also a multiple restaurants were in walking distance and so was office depot

Very disappointed in the parking situation. Lack of parking. Pain in the ass!!

We had a very pleasant stay here. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the AC worked like a champ. Other reviews said the rooms were dated but that wasn't the case for us. The furniture in our room was practically new. The staff was very friendly and helpful. On site parking is $40 per night. This hotel is perfect if you want a budget friendly-ish stay in a great location. Waterfront park is next to the property and the Maritime Museum is right across the street. If you get a Bay View room, you'll be greeted every morning by the majestic Star of India moored across the way. If you're in Tower 2, you'll need to be up on floors 7 or above, although you'll also get a view of the very short Tower 1's roof, lol! There is a menu in the room for Hazelwood's on the Bay (burgers/sandwiches), which we were told you can charge to your room. There's a Claim Jumpers on site, but you can't charge it to your room. There's also a Ruth Chris Steakhouse next door. Across the street you have the Brigantine Seafood & Oyster Bar, Miguel's Cocina, Portside Coffee & Gelato, and Ketch Grill for burgers, fried fish and the like. The USS Midway Museum, Seaport Village & The San Diego Fish Market are also a short walk from the hotel. There's also a Carnitas Snack Shack on the Embarcadero near the cruise ship terminal before reaching the USS Midway. Downtown San Diego is about a mile away, and the Gaslamp District is a bit further at 1.5 miles away. You can either walk it or drive.

Expect to pay $39 or more extra for parking your car. It was not included & I do not recall if that was a pre-pay option available when booking... But my folks & I visited San Diego to enter a Mustang into a local car show, so we had two cars to park. I asked where we should park, and and the front desk claimed we needed reservations to park in their parking space... I claimed we had reserved rooms, but she insisted we needed reservations for parking also... which did not make sense and I never had to do that before at any hotel. Anyway we parked both cars as there was parking spaces available, but they did charge a daily rate for two cars ($78.00) total added to my credit card.

Good views, but very noisy, smelt like alcohol and weed in the halls. Needs to be renovated. Carpet in really bad condition. Balcony was too dirty to use.

The staff at Wyndham took excellent care of us. Great location, close to a lot of sights and easy access to trolley or other transport options

I liked the location and the room was nice, spacious, and the bathroom was good sized and clean

Great spot.

Very dated property and there is a man after you check in tryig to get you to attend a timeshare presentation for free breakfaat. Very over priced!

the location was good

I had to call 4 times to get towels . In addition they don’t use face towels. They said they would bring them but never did. Dresser drawers wouldn't stay closed and they were scratched and chipped up. They didn’t have room service. The tub drain was rusted and old looking.

Extra cost for parking. Also, was told they wouldn’t clean the room unless requested. When I requested the room to be cleaned they said it would be straightened up but wasn’t. Overall not worth the cost.

Bay front location.

The stay was good. I wish we were able to use early check in.

Worse hotel ever I ask to come and unclogged the bathroom because I'm pregnant they did not care they came 1 hour later and gave me the tools to do it my self 🙄🙄
