While the staff at this Marriott property was courteous and professional, I regret to say that the facility itself was in desperate need of attention and renovation.
The room showed significant signs of wear and neglect. The advertised king bed appeared to be more of a queen size, and both lampshades in the sleeping area were visibly water-stained. The bathroom sink had drainage issues, making basic hygiene routines frustrating.
The ironing setup was particularly problematic - the board was flimsy metal with a cover so thin it was essentially useless. I had to place a blanket from the closet over it to create a proper ironing surface. The iron itself leaked water constantly and emitted an unpleasant odor.
Breakfast was underwhelming, with limited options and oddly, only bowls available for serving despite it being early morning when I attended. This seemed like a basic oversight that could be easily remedied.
I appreciate the friendly staff, but unfortunately, their excellent service couldn't compensate for the rundown condition of the facility. For a Marriott property, especially at this price point, I expected significantly better maintenance and attention to detail.
I would recommend management invest in updating the rooms, particularly replacing damaged items and ensuring that basic amenities function properly.
