Well maintained hotel with great staff and amenities (bar/restaurant, pool, gym, bikes) in addition to a perfect location. Only complaint and this will be for booking next time. We booked a room with partial beach view and it was right next to service door which in morning closes loudly. We will splurge on beach suite next time.
Beautiful setting. Room was clean and comfortable. I would have preferred a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor since being on the first, right in front of the pool was not very private for coffee in the morning. On the plus side, the room was close enough to the cafe that our breakfast could. E brought directly to our patio.
One of our preferred properties to stay at in the PB area. Only complaint is the hotel doesn't have quiet hours for the pool. Had an ocean front room near the pool and kids were screaming at 6:30am in the pool which kills any chance of relaxing on vacation. Allowing early pool access with enforced quiet hours would make a world of difference.

I have stayed at hotels all over the world, but I have never had such a great experience from smart to finish. The staff was so incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms were great, location amazing…I can’t say enough great things about this place. We will be back!
Best service, staff was very friendly and responsive. Beautiful area, walking distance to a lot of fun bars and restaurants on the boardwalk. Beach views are excellent.

I did a LOT of "online investigating" before selecting the Pacific Terrace Hotel for our 25th wedding anniversary, and I can't say enough about it. We chose it primarily for its location (which - literally - could not be better) but would go back again and again for the service and amenities. This is not a "chain hotel" so it really feels like the staff is personally invested in the property. EVERYONE, from the Front Desk Staff, to our room attendant, to the serving staff by the pool and hottub, to the bellman was pleasant, professional and congenial. And the "resort fee" was a bargain! $18 per day for the pool, hottub, workout room, chairs (AND umbrellas!) for the beach, and even unlimited use of very well-maintained beach cruiser bicycles (we didn't even need to rent a car!) Seriously, THANK YOU Pacific Terrace Hotel! We WILL be back!

Location is perfect, directly on pacific beach pay more for a balcony ocean room its defintley worth it. Hotel provides beach towels, chairs, umbrellas. The staff here was SO friendly and and helpful, everytime you walkback into the hotel or out of they greet you and acknowledge you ☺️. The bar staff at the pool area was just as freindly & helpful! Great vacation spot!!
