Our stay was pretty good. The staff was nice and our room was clean. The bed was also pretty comfortable. However, the drains in our bathroom were draining very slow so they definitely need probably clean them. The maintenance man came up and tried to unplug the shower drain but whatever he did didn't work. Also, our room's thermostat was blowing cold air, even when we switched it to heat, and turned it up to 70. I finally just had to turn it off because I was so cold. Another issue was that the pool water was hotter than the hot tub! We complained several times because we were concerned that a child may get hurt if they jumped into the hot pool without any warning. We think they might have turned the broken pool heater off for a bit because we think it cooled a bit for one day, but it was still a lot warmer than the hot tub even on the fourth and last day of our stay. I think they could have handled that better by at least putting a sign out warning the guests that the pool was running hot, to swim at own risk. Finally, the Westin's website says multiple times that the breakfast was free and so was parking. We did not realize that when we booked with a third party, all the "complementary" items are no longer complementary. They did explain that to us, but keep that in mind if you decide to book outside of the Westin's website.

It is a centric and convenient location. Also close to a main public transportation hub, so you will see some homeless people in the area. During the day is not bad. If you’re doing any walking at night definitely recommend traveling with a partner or group.

Comfortable and clean stay, great service
One night stay so we didn't have to drive home after a concert at PetCo park. Room was clean, and everything functioned properly. The room had a rain shower which was amazing. Comfortable bed and sheets. Service from the valet to the front desk was wonderful. Would be happy to stay again to get have a quick get away!

The pool was amazing - nice and warm on a rainy day. The food in the restaurant and coffee in the cafe were excellent. The shuttle was not reliable and we ended up getting an Uber, even though we had pre booked a shuttle. Otherwise, a good location and stay.

Went to check in with 2 double bed reserved, as we have 4 people with us. They said they didn't have any available unless we wanted a handicap accessible room. We opted into that room to find they gave us a single king bed. They didn't have another room to give us with a double in the same category so we demanded an upgrade for 2 double beds, they then gave us a junior suite. Once again with a king bed and it was supposed to have a pull out couch. No pull out couch, so back to the front desk we went. Suddenly a room with 2 full size beds were available in a room that they said smelled. So they gave us a room that others didn't want because of a paint smell. Checking into a room shouldn't take 40 minutes before you can unwind into a half-***ed room. I will not stay there again. I am a Gold Elite Bonvoy member and this was the worst experience we've had in any of their hotels.
