Their staff is wonderful. Cool location. Convenient to the ferry, and in Jack London Square.

I enjoyed my stay at the Waterfront Hotel. The home was spacious and I loved the view of the bay. Situated in Jack London Square there was lots to do, eat, and drink - all in walking distance!

Excellent accomadations. The restuaruant downstairs has some of the best food ive ever had.

Wonderful hotel. Love the location, close to the ferry, restaurants and nightlife. The staff is outstanding! Our favorite place to stay in Oakland.

I booked a suite because they looked Beautiful in the web-site pictures. the room was OLD and Smelled and this hotel is right next to the train tracks. They do offer ear plugs.however. The bed looked like it was sitting on the floor. Someone with a bad back would have trouble getting in and out of bed. This room was REALLY expensive for what it was.

Paper thing floors and walls. You can hear everything.

Our stay was awesome and the staff was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. I would totally recommend your hotel.

My husband and I wanted a central location for our midway point of our western vacation. We flew to Denver from Ohio, rented a car and enjoyed a three day drive through the mountains and desert to Oakland to see his daughter. We wanted a beautiful, comfortable, centrally located hotel that was close to fine restaurants, quick connections to wine country and of course to San Francisco. We were very pleased to know we were within a very short, pleasant walk to the water shuttle to Pier 39 and Fisherman's Warf. The location could not have been better. We even enjoyed looking at the shipping cranes that inspired George Lucas for the Star Wars movie #6! The accommodations were very nice: the bed was comfortable with nice, smooth sheets and very clean duvet. There was an iron, board, hairdryer, any forgotten soaps and lotions and generous towels. The pool was small, but quiet, with soothing saltwater. The lobby area provided refreshing lemonade, water and newspapers. We arrived on a Sunday and we're greeted by friendly, professional doorman who helped with our luggage and car. The counter staff also helped resolve a wifi issue that only affected my phone. We also enjoyed the shuttle service which allowed us to try a recommendation for breakfast that was about 4 miles from the hotel, their complimentary limit. The room was always cleaned by 3pm and was fresh and inviting. The decor had a modern nautical theme which was a delightful change from some of the more drab, neutral colors used in other hotels. The only negative was our last 24 hours when the elevator stopped working. However, there are only a few floors of stairs and we were not inconvenienced by this. It would have been problematic to someone with handicap issues. It started on Tuesday afternoon and had not been resolved by Wednesday a.m. Also, the breakfast location was slow, unprofessional and not very helpful. The breakfast food was not good. A very lovely stay though, all in all.I would recommend it highly.

If you have business in downtown, women may not feel safe at night. Shuttle service is ok.

Convenient ferry service to San Francisco makes this hotel a preferred option to expensive and small San Francisco hotels. Quick access to Oakland airport. Jack London square is a nice area. Port of Oakland is adjacent, but soundproof rooms keep the port operations at bay. Pardon the pun.

Good location city side rooms will have train noise. Be prepared.

Fun hotel, great location. We did a lot in a short time, all over San Francisco. Even went to Carmel and Monterey. Alcatraz, Giants tour and game, wandered the city. The Hotel was very nice, nautical themed. Valet parking is OK although I prefer to park and get my own car. There were limited spots by the hotel so it was actually easier to have valet in this case. Walking around was easy since cars couldn't drive in the Jack London Square area. Restaurant choices. Overall a good stay. Would love to stay again.

The staff was very friendly and accomodating. I was upgraded to a room with a balcony because they had one available and the room service was expiditious. Great Job!!

The hotel decor was classy and comfy. We had a great stay. The location is nice and cute.

Catered to every need I asked for and water view is nice also.

Beautiful view, and great location. Decent Hotel for the $$. Good alternative to high priced SF Hotels.

In the heart of Jack London Square, close to ferry to San Francisco, short walk to Chinatown and Oakland Museum. Receive room upgrade with balcony and view of the water. Many restaurants within 5 blocks. breakfast at hotel excellent.

Hotel was clean and quiet. Beautiful view from our hotel balcony of Oakland holiday lights.

This hotel was awesome! Great location, clean and cute decor. Love the restaraunts around it and the one downstairs.

Glad we stayed here rather than San Fran. Room was cheaper, super clean, and plush. Staff was friendly and very supportive. It was convenient to public transportation. All in all, it was a wise choice.
