There was no one at he checkout desk. it was done remotly via machine by a person in another country. It tool me over 1 half hours to check me in, as the room key at the machine gave me did not open the door. in fact, it took over 5 times for them to get me a key that would open the door.

The room was in good condition and the staff was nice. I was put in the room upstairs farthest away from the lobby and the WiFi was very spotty. And whatever service you use for overnight support in the lobby is not good. It was a woman who didn’t seem to speak English because when I asked them for help they took off their headphones and just stared at me and another woman leaned in from off screen and appeared to take a picture of me. Very strange experience when all I was looking for was the WiFi password.

Staff and overall cleanliness top notch...for a Motel 6 - and I mean that with all due respect. They were very respectful, professional and courteous, for any hotel. Only problem IMHO was the floors weren't clean to match everything else.

I wanted to bring to your attention about a very unfortunate experience at the Motel 6 location off the 405 freeway in Costa Mesa, CA. I paid $120 for room 114. The person who was taking care of our reservation was rude and did nothing to care of resolving an issue with an air conditioning unit that was not working properly. The way handled it was to offer a full refund for the room. He had intention of resolving the issue and said there was nothing he can do. G
